I've found that Monsteras can/will attach to almost anything, without having to keep it moist, so as long as it has a sturdy support, it'll go! One more tip: lean the pole slightly backwards, so when the weight of the plant starts pulling on it, it'll straighten😊I've been using the closed back moss poles (cheap Amazon version) for other Philos this past year, and they're great! I have to check them often, and water 2-3 times a week (I use small soda bottles with holes poked in the lids, like Sidney Plant Guy) and they're great. I agree with you completely on the esthetics...love the look of the bendable one!

do you lean it backwards to the point that its against the pot? almost as a way to stabilize?

Neat video, Maria! 😊 I'm currently using a homemade moss pole for one of my Monstera deliciosa, and a Grow Vertical moss pole with my Monstera albo because I needed a pole that's aesthetically pleasing AND can be easily adjusted when i need to add another extension and/or chop and prop the plant. Will you make a follow-up video months later of the trio for the audience to see how the plants grew on them over time and whether they held up well?
