Having your house fire proofed is certainly a worthwhile investment.

They should make this product a building code requirement if you live in a dry-brush or wooded area.

Not to burst your bubbles - of course, anything helps, but in CA, temperatures of our wildfire exceeded 2000 degrees - street lights melted - a metal Wallmart burned

What is the siding material? Is that James Hardie Board? I live in a mobile home park and I have bee looking at putting James Hardie Board over my existing siding because a mobile home park a fire can easily go from structure to structure.

If new home construction were a factor, one might seriously consider building off the house a separate kitchen space/area so as to have that area separate from the main house even so as a part of a guest house or outhouse type location away from the property perhaps with the washer and dryer as to reduce the chance of an in house fire/fire damage. Strategic building and landscape design can reduce the potential hazards.

I wish they would concentrate the heat in one spot instead of moving the torch.

That foam would have burned all the way through if he held the torch their. Need to use steel studs with rock wool insulation. Then totally fire proof.

Instead frp styrofoam material gotta be foamed or aereted concrete exterior also can be shot with stucco microbaloon mixture with gunite. (micro balloons used for space shuttle heat protection from 3 m 5 gallon around 300 bucks. Suggested is cheapest way foam seen crystalizes bronches in lungs as irreversible damage if partially fumes inhailed.

In part, yes. My family is moving from a city, where FD response is 3min or less, to a heavily wooded area with a volunteer FD and very few people around in general soon and we’ll be building the house from scratch. Just looking for way(s) to make the house and garage completely impervious to wildfires at any cost. I want it so that even if someone emptied an entire gasoline tanker onto the outside of our house and lit a match, the gasoline would just burn off and the house would still be standing.

So now instead of having timber smoke we will all be choking on burning plastic. It should be criminal to build buildings out of plastic like this.

“And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:11 ... Hell is real and it’s not something you want to joke about. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23.. Is death - As opposed to eternal life, and proves that one is just as enduring as the other. If you die in your sin, the Word of God is very clear where you’re going. But God doesn’t want you to go there. He loves you much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for your sins. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. John 3:16... the Bible says “whosoever”. You have a choice... to receive His son Jesus Christ or to reject Him as your Saviour. Repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Accept His free gift of eternal life. Don’t choose hell.

@dieniewienie143 6 жыл бұрын
@karl ditz you can use hollow bricks yes, but you'd still need a wooden frame in order to support it. Bricks alone wouldn't work. A small earthquake would topple the entire structure. Only other way it could be supported is by reinforcing it with steel rods but that would be too costly

If you smoke heavily and talk on a cell phone while scraping this stuff out of wall and then use it to make food containers for overly salted salami sandwiches on white bread (hold the vegetables), and then eat the box too after you've eaten the sandwich, you could be in danger of developing cancer at some point in your life... so this stuff will never make it into the California building code.
