This kzbin.infoUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo unit was an easy install and turned out amazing. The dimensions were exact! I took a chance and built the wall prior to receiving the unit which arrived sooner than expected and it fit right in the space I constructed. The heat output is perfect for the space we needed and made the room exactly how we envisioned it to turn out. I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thank you for the awesome product just in time for the holidays.

This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection kzbin.infoUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

Simple is the best way. I like that you did this with the least amount of tools possible. Sometimes DIY videos are full or expensive tools which can be discouraging to the average hobby builder. You did a great job man. Keep building!

Very quick question.. there is a little screw with the arrow to take off the glass. If you have the fireplace in place and shiplap installed how do you put that screw on once you put the glass back on? Or do you just eliminate this screw and the glass just sits in place, or do you put the screw back, then install the fireplace and when you slide the glass on does it some how 'hook' on to that screw securing it? If you can let me know that would be great. Thanks
@lillithjones993 Жыл бұрын
Little pads behind the attaching screw hole make the insert stick out from the frame far enough for the glass frame attachment hole to be exposed.

How much did you consider the electrical aspect of this? A 12.5 amp fireplace on a 15 amp circuit? You also have your TV, other TV accessories, lights and any other electronics you have plugged in to nearby outlets are all likely on the same circuit. Did you consider that on your calculation?

We are doing this right now. Thank you for the video! One place we are stuck is doing the Shiplap around the fireplace. We have the same one but we can figure out how to get the glass cover to go over the Shiplap to hide any imperfections. The Shiplap seems too thick to go between the frame and the back of the cover. Did you run into this problem? Thanks again!

@boyankovic62113 жыл бұрын
At the price of lumber today probably about $120,000! But seriously, $10 a stick and he probably used 10 to 15 so not too bad. You could also use steel studs which is easy to use as well.

Where did you put TV equipment? Trying to figure out where to hide cable box, wifi router, dvd player, etc... I have seen some people create an open box below the TV for these items, I think, they never show all of the equipment in it though. Great video and appreciate any feedback and help.
