I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Fiona Karen Cosmann.

Australia has a lot of room. It makes no sense for land to cost so much.

All in all a good video but should've been a bit more granular with the numbers for instance out of the 25,000 migrants entering Australia and the month of February, how many are a family of four? what is the ratio of couple? How does that work in conjunction with Population growth due to births?

Good video mate! I find it interesting looking at the immigration chart since 1977 that the biggest jumps in immigration Australia saw were around Black Monday and the GFC… is that a strange coincidence? I predict outer suburbs of Brisbane will see the greatest growth over the next 5 years. Areas like Logan, and Yatala will increase 10X

While there are great points in this video. The bit about immigration is misleading ... the new influx in immigration is mostly students and skilled workers who were already planning on coming in 20220/2021/2022. They got their VISAs and lives put on hold due to COVID. They already had jobs or student placements lined up here, these aren't new immigrants. We just have a backlog of 3 years of immigration all coming in at once. The lack of immigration during COVID was so much larger than the current influx (in terms of net numbers). As long as immigration settles down back to previous numbers in 3 years, there will be no net gains in immigration rates compared to the past. Additionally, immigrants are mostly not buying houses (there are many laws restricting immigrants from buying a house until they are a Permanent Resident, and they need to be in Aus for 4 years before that can happen). Immigrants are driving *rental* prices up, and therefore potentially driving up purchase prices as a secondary effect, but immigrants only really directly affect the rental market. Owner-occupiers are driving these purchase price rises the most (and owner-occupiers are not new immigrants). The immigration narrative only seems plausible to people who don't do the numbers. The housing market in Brisbane will likely continue to rise, but it isn't immigrants driving it.

They should stop until they catch up on the housing units.

Why were they approving people during a period they could not come? Now that those have been approved they should stop new approvals until the housing unit situation is sorted out.

You left out the part that most of the people coming here are on temporary visas. In 2022-23 only 80 thousand permanent visas were issued so this whole thing is pretty overblown. Most of the temporary visas are being given to foreign students. Most of them are living in those foreign student towers in all the capital CBDs.

Very well-said! Of course, FOMO purchases can only happen easily when half of the truth is out.
