Interest rates higher from here. XMAS spending is going to deliver an upwards direction in inflation first quarter reporting period 2025 will confirm. The RBAs out for cutting and gets them through to second half of the year. I see way to much spending at my local shopping centres for the silly season to suggest households are in any sort of distress regardless of current inflation.

This guys a fool. The retail spending is coming from the record amount of immigrants coming in. The economy isnt strong when you have 91% of jobs in the sep quarter givernment. Lmao

@tysonfinn1470 thanks for watching our show, we clearly mentioned that retail spending is higher because there are more of us and also inflation has pushed the cost of everything higher. and there is no doubt that our economy has slowed down, which is exactly what the RBA has been trying to do to bring inflation under control, economic growth is still running a bit faster than the RBA would like
