Housing Options for Older Adults

Thank you for your information. What is residential care? I can’t take care of my self any more and I have no family support. For some reason I don’t qualify for assisted living either. I’m in a world of hurt and no where to go.

Residential care would typically be for a person receiving Medicaid. I'd recommend contacting your local Area Agency on Aging (eldercare.acl.gov/Public/Index.aspx - enter your zip code) and they will be able to help you find resources and the housing option that you qualify for and can afford.
