Tag along as I tackle the second major motor repair of the season. If it was easy everyone would do it.

Not a Ford guy but daaaaayum I'm throughly impressed! SBF in running low 8's in the most sanitary Foxbody I've seen... and you do your own wrenching? How can I not subscribe?! New sub 👌🏾😄

Hi pj, I mentioned this to you on tic tok not sure if you saw it. Your having scrubbing issues with that head gasket. You need a RA of 50 or less to prevent that. Yes cometic claims more but my 16 years experience 50 or better. Your at 18lb still? Deck service on block and heads needs to have no grooves in it smooth. Not a hater just a mustang guy been there a lot

Bkock is smooth and just redid the heads (they have always been smooth)

@@go46ball my short block came new from AMS racing. I went thru this 5 times last summer. Had heads checked ect. Did it again. Took it out took block to a good shop and ended up being the block surface had a ra of 100 +. The fingernail test was no passing “. It would catch slightly on the block surface. Drove me nuts i about lost interest on the car and my back was killing me.. hope you don’t have this problem. Good luck !👍
