With a show business career that has spanned more than 50 years, Fabares made her mark in the '50's on the Donna Reed Show, in the '60's co-starring with Elvis on the big screen, in the '70's as a member of the cast of Mary Hartman, and in the '80's & '90's on the TV series One Day at a Time & Coach. Despite her success her life has not been without its challenges. Fabares received a life-saving liver transplant in the fall of 2000, and has worked tirelessly for the Alzheimer's Association following her mother's battle with the dreaded disease.
