What a wonderful interviewer! I don't need to talk about Laurie. She has always been a true inspiration.

Ms. Anderson, You say that you now love performing outdoors? I happened to learn a very long time ago learned that your music was just simply too big to ever be properly be appreciated indoors. Take my word for it, sometimes your very wise words and beautiful music can seemingly fill the whole of the surrounding heavens when one is outdoors and listening to you on a set of good stereo headphones. I want to thank you for all of those truly wondrous times.

So cool & sophisticated, yet humble.... I have a huge crush! Excellent interviewer- you can tell she enjoyed it. I've seen others with her & Lou that they seemed less than...

Thank you, Laurie! A true artist. Sure would have enjoyed talking about sound and art with Laurie in 1974 in a NY loft apartment with lots of pillows, cabernet and The Smiths low on the radio. Maybe there will be a Virtual Reality program that will include just that!

Nice! Only in 1974 there wouldn't be The Smiths I guess, maybe in 1984 there could. But I don't think The Smiths and Laurie A were from the same scene, they are both from their own world. The pillows and cabernet fit the picture nicely though!

What a great idea! Post deployment or enlistment boot camp to reverse the effects of military service and war.!

In the Old Testament World of Joshua, after a Great Battle, Soldiers were not allowed to return to their Families and Society, for a period of time ( a couple of weeks?) because they were believed to be gripped by a kind of Insanity, a mind space essential for Survival on a Battlefield but not Everyday life. Only time, away from "The World" and with other soldiers, some who had fought a Hundred Battles, some only One, but others who know this Insanity from the Inside. Time to Decompress to Mourn to Weep, to Rage and to help other Soldiers while you heal. During Vietnam, a Draftee would usually not travel to and from the War Zone as part of a group, but alone. After 13 months of Combat, someone would tap you in the shoulder and say you were done, and in 24 to 36 hours, you would be on your couch at home, a lone with your Experiences and a Mind/ Body honed to Kill with no Enemy
