Quick question: Do you have a Part 107 license to post videos on the drone?
@Roos-Reviews4 ай бұрын
You asked if I have a Part 107 license, but I am wondering if maybe you meant to ask whether or not a person needs to have a Part 107 license in order to post KZbin videos shown with the drone(?)
@Master0fHyrule4 ай бұрын
@@Roos-Reviews Technically, both questions are accurate. Since (assuming) you are monetized and this is considered a drone, don't we need to have a 107 license to post it to youtube? (especially since the new one is coming soon and wanting to be prepared).
@Roos-Reviews4 ай бұрын
@Master0fHyrule Well, to answer the question that you asked me, I don't have a Part 107 license. The Part 107 is a USA thing. It does not apply to other countries, and I am not in America.
@Master0fHyrule4 ай бұрын
@Roos-Reviews Do you have an equivalent one (based on your country) or is the laws totally different? I'm just hoping I can just post the X1 Pro Max without needing one since lots of rules don't pertain to the Hover X1 compared to a DJI.

I have only just become interested in drones. I watched your video on the original X1 and was taken in, but the quality of the camera was something that seemed dismal. The first one tempted me. These ones are somewhat irresistible. There is only one course of action for me. I shall have to drop my wallet in the river. But the 8k model makes me wonder whether we will see an 8k Pocket 4 before long...
@Steal_ex4 ай бұрын
If you are talking about DJI Osmo Pocket 4, the previous ones were made with an interval of 2-3 years. And the third one came out a year ago. In general, not soon.
@Ozpeter4 ай бұрын
@@Steal_ex yes, I should have said "one day" instead of "before long".
@Steal_ex4 ай бұрын
@@Ozpeter 8K is good, of course, but there is nothing to watch it on yet. You need a projector or VR to get a screen of the appropriate size with FOV 130° (that's right, degrees, not inches). There are none of those yet, and with the TVs that are available, you have to sit right next to them to get FOV 130. But the most important thing is that 30 frames per second is not enough for such large screens, you need 120. Otherwise, there will be strobing.

@@Steal_ex I upload my travel videos on KZbin and Instagram. Should I get the 4k when it's released? Or should I invest on 8k?
@Ozpeter4 ай бұрын
@@Steal_ex The immediate advantage of an 8K image is that you can crop it to 4K to achieve a high quality zoom. The 8K original can of course be rendered to 4K for viewing on typical TVs but you have the extra resolution of the original for the future when 8K TVs have become cheap.

With a small battery ,in 8k, or 4k it will eat up a battery in 6 minutes. The price will be 599 4k and 699 8k ,not even worth something that only flies about 8 minutes in real world time. It states 16 minutes but no drone actually gets the time stated from these companies.
@Roos-Reviews4 ай бұрын
They claimed the X1 would get 11.5 minutes and in my test following a bicycle I got about 9.5 minutes. Hopefully the pro in follow mode will get 12 or 13 minutes, which is probably roughly the same as the Neo is going to get in the real world. I think until we've actually tested it, we can't really say the battery is only going to last six minutes.
@jc1711774 ай бұрын
as an x1 user who sold my mavic pro and mini...I can comment that without all the faff on the mavics you don't need a 30 minute battery. You turn the x1 on, it goes up and takes the shot and is back down very quickly. I've taken all the drone shots I need on a long hike with 1 battery. Saves time as its so efficient and helps with editing as you don't have minutes of fluff footage to wade through. The only downside was the image quality (which was fine for me) but this is resolved with this new version (with a few added extras).

The scammers get them for free because customers will get them in October! DJI Neo will be in September and HoverAir doesn't have a remote control - I noticed that the presentations are without other people in the background, coincidence? No! This drone loses the object and you will lose it!!
