The Hover X1 makes my dji drone gathering dust. Dji drones are nice for overviews of areas, whereas the Hover X1 wins hands down for dayly and easy use as a flying camera. Use the manual mode!

I got the following response from Zero Zero Robotics last week: "Hey! We're always exploring new possibilities to enhance our products, but we haven’t announced a new HoverAir X2 yet. Your suggestions for a 4K camera, better obstacle avoidance, and extended hover time are fantastic and align well with what we envision for future developments. Thanks for your enthusiasm and ideas-they are crucial for our innovation. Keep an eye on our updates; a game-changer could indeed be on the horizon!" So better wait for the X2 version guys. It's coming...

Very nice comparison love my X1 quick and easy! Good for close up videos, agree with setup time, but if you like flying drones that’s fun in itself. I order new X1pro max 8k but excited to see the neo coming out!

@@TechLineHD thanks for the info. I watched your video on a 4l LG OLED TV and the image was brilliant ! I know you had the most ideal lighting which really helps. I may have to get the pocket 4 !! I currently use the Sony a7iv. I was thinking of getting the x1 pro max, the quality looks great. but 10 mins flight, and not suitable for medium winds makes me wait to see more reviews. for me it costs £600 with bat and nd

Thanks for the great video. Sweetie & I agree entirely. We have owned a DJI Mavic 1, DJI Spark and DJI Mini 3 Pro and ALMOST never use them. We got the HoverAir X1 on IndieGoGo last year and use it EVERY SINGLE WEEK and it is the Intro show in EVERY SINGLE BEERVLOG we have shot in the past year [150 BeerVlogs]. We are so addicted that we just bought the deluxe bundle of the HoverAir ProMAX with the beacon, controllers and Charging case. Have you ordered one of the new ones. Cool video ! I noticed the X1 makes a high pitched annoying noise, i hope they fix this with the ProMax. Two questions: 1. Do crashes on trees affect the gimbal? It looks kind of exposed. 2. How fast can you charge one battery fully ,if you connect a PD powerbank to the hover charging hub ? 3. Does it detect well the hand gestures in low light or from a 5m distance ?

Thanks! Honest comparison. I don't like DJI. Setup time and starting taking too much time also DJI with remote control almost 1kg. I'm switching to the Hover. Another problem with dji follow mode actually not good as advertised. One more problem DJI not anymore sturdy like old versions. One crush and done.

I was looking for this comparison thank you. I benefit From review. How about the stability in windy days. How about the battery issue. Is it possible to buy extra battery and charge while using the drone? What happens if you loose the connection with the drone? It looks fragile if you put it in your pocket. Is it? Shall we wait for X2 or x1 is satisfying? I am really asking. I dont have the answer.

I’m loving my Hoverair x1 for almost a year now. I like it a lot. I used it all the time for running, biking, hiking and many other activities. I bought 3 extra batteries so I can fly longer. Each battery is about 11 minutes of flying time. It handle about 10mph winds fine, for 15mph winds is shaky., but I did it few times no problem. I usually carry it inside my hoodie pocket. Batteries are in my pants pocket.

Dji also has automatic homing and Are far better built. This is a cute toy for Kids though spend the extra $$$ and go with a professional tool = DJI mavic Pro. + it looks like it would Self-Employed after the first draft

One of the major drawbacks of DJI is the NFZ. There's no guarantee the drone will take off, depending on where you intend to fly. On the HOver Air, noise is the problem.

If you are carrying extra batteies for the Mini 4, you must carry A LOT of extra batteries for the X1 since the battery only lasts 10 minutes compared to the Mini 4 pro 30+ minutes.
