My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power? At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions? H

I bought a charger off of Amazon and it just came today but when I plug it in both lights beep for a split second then shut off and it does this every few seconds. Is there a problem with my hoverboard or my charger

Couple things to check; First off, Make sure the charger voltage matches your board. Originally, the were all 40v. Now though, there is a mix of voltages, with the majority being 20 or 40v. Obviously the charger must match the voltage requirement of the scooter. If voltages are correct, it "sounds" like the batteries BMS is tripped, so may need to replace the battery. Couldn't be certain without it in front of me. If a Gyro was bad, it would still charge, just not drive.

@@DarkTails256 Board may look the same but it might not be the same voltage. Make sure your board is 40 V, if it is you may be looking at getting a new battery

Replace battery. The BMS Safety was tripped. Otherwise, main board, but more likely battery. Cheaper to get a new board from Wal-Mart for $100.

i just got mine its a UL2272 6.6' & i first charged it after unboxing it & when i turn it on that annoying lady says waiting for bluetooth connecting, and i tried riding it without fallin off so ig i hadn't calibrated it yet..is that what it means? Like when i tried riding it one step then the other foot on, it uncalibrated like one side would go the other side would stay while the other moved fast..

@@NKO_7 The battery BMS is most likely tripped. You will need to replace the battery. It "COULD" be a loose wire internally as well. However, when the BMS tripps, it will no longer allow the battery to charge. You can bypass the BMS board, however, doing so gives the potential for the battery to start on fire in a fault situation. Three most common reasons for the BMS to trip, #1, You let the battery get too low and did not charge it. #2, dropping the board or hard impact. #3, battery got extremely hot, either from extreme or heavy use on very hot day, or using the board in a manor it was not designed for.

Check the voltage of the board. Same plugs, but different voltages available. The "Better" boards are 40v. The cheaper ones, and ones for smaller children can be as low as 20v.

Hoover Board will not charge the yellow light stays on and it beeps very fast for a few minutes then stops beeping but the yellow light continues to flash. Then if I unplug it with the yellow light flashing it starts to beep. I have tried leaving it plugged it for about 60 minutes but it never gets a green fully charged light. I cannot find the manual I purchased it in May 2017 is the warranty still good? Its a HAI 6.5" Hoverboard Top LED Self Balancing Scooter With Bluetooth.

Please help. My hover board is a CHIC JR. it was working fine until it just started turning one way but not the other. I tried re calibrating but now instead of forwards it goes backwards. I just got it today. Idk what to do it’s making me so mad

Defective Gyro, or possibly a loose connection. Open the side that is not turning, and check for loose connections, otherwise if you just got it today, your better off returning it and getting a different one. This can also happen after an impact. Also, you did not have the board flat when calibrating, which is why the other side goes the opposite directions now.

My hoverboard doesn't flicker its lights. The green lights turn on for about 2 seconds, then turn red and beep as if its dying. This also happens soon as its finished charging, and I turn it on. It also happens, when I don't get on it, or do get on it so I can't do anything. I have no idea why this is happening. :/

Battery BMS is likely tripped. Meaning faulty battery or drained dangerously low or you overheated it

I have recharged the board. As soon as I push the power button it flashes red. I let it flash for 30/40 seconds and turn it off. When I turn it back on it immediate flashes red and keeps flashing.
