overtime rules should be eliminating field goals altogether, and no time limit, give both teams a shot each to score a Touchdown and finish when a winner is declaired… so if one team gets a TD, the other team loses if they can't convert and respond with a touchdown. if they both score, then keep going till one loses.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I recall that after the tim Tebow lead broncos beat the stealers in the playoffs with a td they changed it to. In short, it's to make games more exciting but also to prop up mid af QB's to elite status on the off chance they pull a fluke drive so we have a narrative to talk about. They get to prop up Herbert or Goff who are both ass, if they win in OT with new rule sets meanwhile other then Mahomes every African QB gets shitted on if they're defense doesn't show up or team underperforms no matter how good they actually are in the clutch.

Then they post threats that unless the "rigged" NFL intentionally *fixes* games against KC, they will stop watching. Essentially not worried the NFL is "rigged", but demanding it be "rigged" for them. Coercion is another Alinsky/Democrat loser tactic.
