What did you guys think of this video? Do you want to see us do more animated videos? (these are hard to do!) What should we cover next?
@ghosthand81195 жыл бұрын
Very nice commercial! As for what you cover next, how about how much microwave radiation will these new devices put out? I know it's less than a microwave oven, but how much less? After a hour of playing a game on my laptop am I going to find out I've been slowly cooking my balls the whole time? Second, how close are these 'cells' going to have to be to get continuous coverage for things like autonomous driving? Every mile, every 10 miles? There is still large gaps in 3g and 4g coverage. Would it even be feasibly possible to get full 5g coverage? And what would the cost be?

There is no escape, we are being confined more and more. Soon our phones will be able to read our minds without us even knowing. It's the logical next move of mass control. And they will sell it like everything else a.k.a 'it's for your safety'. First people won't believe that we need it. So like everything else they will create a chaos factor that will make it justifiable and mindless sheep will accept it and move on.

DoD already used up a big part of the 5G MMW frequencies (spectrum allocation for 5G), leaving less commercial use. The excerpt below explains why the U.S. is still struggling with 5G in terms of implementation. According to the National Security Implications of Fifth Generation (5G) Mobile Technologies document and excerpt to find out why the U.S. is still behind with 5G in building up capacity. ("The Department of Defense (DOD), however, holds large portions of the usable spectrum. Although DOD uses certain MMW frequencies for high-profile military applications such as Advanced Extremely High-Frequency satellites that provide assured global communications for U.S. forces, it extensively uses sub-6 frequencies-leaving less sub-6 availability in the United States than in other countries. The Defense Innovation Board (DIB) advised DOD to consider sharing sub-6 spectrum to facilitate the build-out of 5G networks and the development of 5G technologies used in the sub-6 band. While DOD has been moving toward greater spectrum sharing, it has expressed concern that sharing presents operational, interference, and security issues for DOD users. As an alternative to spectrum sharing, some analysts have argued that portions of the sub-6 spectrum should be reserved for commercial use. This would require DOD to relocate certain applications to other parts of the spectrum. The DIB estimates this approach would take around 10 years to complete, as opposed to 5 years for spectrum sharing.")

The jury is still out about the effects of microwave radio radiation on human health. With regard to the comment that the CDC does not find any effects on cells, the statement is incomplete. Ionizing radiation has mutagenic effects on DNA. We are not discussing ionizing radiation, however. There ARE some studies that indicate there are subclinical effects on cells and cellular organelles that are not mutagenic in nature due to microwave radio radiation. The long-term effects have not been established. As an environmental scientist, I am still on the fence about being blanketed by a 5G network's coverage. Any city dweller will ultimately have this environmental insult heaped on all the others we deal with every day. Who knows what health specialists will be saying about these effects in 100 years?
@deepspacecow2644 Жыл бұрын
It operates on the same bands that have been used since 2g and 3g.
@batya7 Жыл бұрын
@deepspacecow2644 It is the cumulative effects, the unknown subclinical damage being done, that is worrisome. Despite using the same 2g & 3g bands, sadly, we still don't have adequate information on THOSE effects either. Remember, the carcinogenic effects of common solvents like benzene weren't validated until the late 1970s - early 1980s, but they had been in use for a hundred years or so.

5G can be fantastic. But your video only alludes to it’s problems. More transmitters and shorter range. In existing trials you’re high speed connection may completely disappear if you just turn around! Imagine sitting on the John doing your browsing, with lots of walls in between you and the transmitter! Sorry, no signal (or only 4G or thereabouts). In central London there are already significant blank spots for 4G. I just had to walk 50 metres down the road and the signal completely drops. Nothing at all. 5G requires a HUGE amount of extra transmitter deployment to get a more uniform coverage, but there are going to be MORE dead spots. Yes roll on 5G, but lets not kid ourselves that there won’t be problems.
