Ok, so are you planning to come to Australia on a visitor visa and then lodge while you are onshore in Australia, correct?

yes correct!! so for the 820 I believe

@@Jeddiefreak so, the answer is yes, potentially...but there are few IF's... IF you are granted a Visitor Visa with no 8503 conditions, and IF you actually qualify to apply for the 820 (you meet the minimum requirements and have enough evidence) then after lodging you may be granted a bridging visa with full work rights... But I strongly suggest you get some professional advice before leaving Germany so that you can be sure that this is the correct path for you. There might be a better option considering your situation.

Hi. Thank you for this informative video. I wanted to know whether I will get a Bridging visa (BVA) automatically if I have applied for an offshore partner visa (309) which is currently in process and then I have applied for a visitor visa 600 which has been granted now for 12 months. So, currently I am in Australia on a visitor visa and when that expires and I still haven't been granted the 309, do I have to leave Australia or do I automatically get the BVA? Depending on your case. When I first brought my wife on a holiday visa to Australia during her 309 offshore partner visa process. My wife gave birth to my child in Australia ongoing treatment for my child at the hospital allowed my wife to get a bridging visa to stay an extra 6 months. But it also delayed her partner visa by a few months. It only takes uoto 2 years to get the 309 and a few months later for the permanent subclass 100. But if you submitted your application after the new changes takes affect the temporary subclass visa processing time is now 8 years. . But that won't apply to you if you submit the application earlier
