I’m an HPDE instructor in the Boston area. Can confirm many Chinese foreign college students show up in these types of cars and have many off track incidents. It’s truly wild that these kids have the type of money where a 150k car is disposable to them. If they crash it they’ll have a new and better model by next week.

I had a similar experience with my current vehicle (W212). The sales guy had on WAY too much cologne. For about 3 years I would get in it once in a while and smell that disgusting cologne.

"The marbles" doesn't mean off track. That's called going off lol. The marbles is when you go off the racing line and pick up everything that's been swept off the driving line. So rubber mostly and maybe a few small rocks. Not surprised you don't know this. After you said that a groove in a ceramic rotor won't ruin it lol. Its 100% toast for track use. Street it's probably somewhat usable. Just like nicking a ceramic rotor will completely ruin it. Pretty sure you only sell track cars and probably never drive one at any pace whatsoever on track. Think about how ironic that really is. It's like being an "expert" tools salesman that's never used a wrench.

Many years ago, I watched somebody fill the backseat of an AMG S-Class with concrete blocks at a Home Depot. The leather was not protected by blankets or other protection. The kid was Asian, and I lived 30 minutes north of Boston. It was insane how a new car was being mistreated, and I thought this young man's parents were going to destroy him when they saw the damage. Now, I think it may have been no big deal.

I sold a new car to a client, we had to buy a near identical 6cyl in to do a trim swap into the V8 and charged the client an additional 2k for it. 3 months later a severe thunder storm happened at their property and her 2 Daughters put their 2 cats 🐈 in the car out the storm. They clawed the leather to pieces, It cost them an additional 5k to re trim the car.

I had an 87 Nissan Pulsar when I was in high school, around 2005/2006 and I parked it in the garage once with the t-tops off and the "family cat" that my mom and sister took in despite me being highly allergic, decided to climb in and piss on a seat.. Even after replacing the seats the car still had a smell to me.. Should have snuffed it when I had the chance.. 😂
