Taking her phone and laptop into the bathroom with her is not about them being "things that could identify her." It's to help prevent "evil maid" attacks. (The Wikipedia article on these is quite interesting.) Basically, if a device is out of your possession, it can be _very_ difficult to ensure that it's not been compromised because the firmware/software that asks for, e.g., your full disk encryption password can't easily be authenticated to be correct by the user. By the way, that's not customs where Jane is presenting her passport, but immigration.

We carried both our blue tourist and red official passport with the red hidden in a hidden compartment of our carry on bag so if something crazy happened someone with ill-will wouldn't be able to easily identify the fact we are traveling on an official passport (granted our firearms would probably have given it away haha). We only used them at entry control points or if we needed to identify ourselves to local law enforcement.

The NSA / CIA have, in conjunction with major US "Long Lines" and SATCOM suppliers, have for decades used special rooms in each of the two or four CO's that manage undersea cable and Satellite Link traffic in, and out, of the US. These locked and secret facilities take all the traffic that moves in and out of the system and "mirrors" or splits it, sending the original on its way, and the duplicate to the super computers at the NSA / CIA for, what can only be called, the first true MetaData Research. This also in tandem with satellite reception that listens in on Microwave Transmissions that move in straight lines past the curvature of the earth and can be received in space.

That ad break was smooth as hell. For the first time in any youtube video, I actually watched it. Well done!

I clicked “Like” more for your seemless, less annoying Segway into your sponsor commericals than the content. Nicely done.

Yeah, CIA is overhyped nowadays. They did some fucked up things on 60s though

The quality of the videos is unreal from the animation to the storytelling to the AD is being put in not so subtle way but entertaining and doesn't make you want to skip huge props for you and the team

Despite the amazing animations, half of the stuff you attribute to the CIA is actually performed by the NSA.

Your animations are so crip and beautiful, I would watch your videos even if the I wasn't interested in the story. And your storytelling is so good I would watch even if you just drew stick figures.❤
