I like that he choreographed the feelings he got from the song. He's trying to not overthink anything which I really have to remind myself.

This content is gold. Aside from learning his tips, I appreciate how authentic and raw he choreographs. It’s more satisfying to see the routine when the process itself is. Amazing job. It’s a “YES”!

Contrasting Will's choreo process with CJ Salvador's from a while back is beautiful to watch. Will is so abstract and willing to delve into the emotional and how the body wants to move, while CJ lets the wordplay and lyrics of the song inform his shapes and pathways. So cool to watch them back to back and explore the process! Thanks Steezy 🔥

WOWWWW thank you! i’ll be applying some of these techniques to my own dancing. this process appeared so comfortable, safe, and natural. when we try too hard to force a product, firstly it becomes unenjoyable as we critique and tear down our own ideas. then if we do end up producing something in this state, it loses that ethereal magic for lack of a better term: it comes from our analytical left brain rather than the whole of unmanifested potential unique to our own artistry. thank u again

Ugggh I loved this! I'm a belly dancer and I'm still fairly new to it but I love choreographing solo pieces. I feel like my process is similar to this but my vocabulary is not nearly as expansive (as far as moves that feel readily available to me). Also that little head slide felt very belly dancy so I loved it haha. Steezy videos are always inspiring and interesting and this one in particular was a joy to watch!

That was tough for me to count. I know you guys have counting videos, but what about instances like this where the first quarter or half of the song is more amorphous? There’s a distinctive beat that starts at some point and that gives me a solid 1, but before that I can’t catch it.
