The Type EZR pilot-operated, pressure reducing regulator is designed to give accurate, smooth, quiet operation, tight shutoff, and long life, even in dirty service. These boot-style and unloading-style regulators can be installed in various applications such as natural gas transmission/distribution systems and industrial and commercial facilities. The Type EZROSX is available with a slam-shut device which provides overpressure protection and/or under pressure protection by completely shutting off the flow of gas to the downstream system.

We set pressure at 100 PSIG but it rises upto 160 PSIG when load / consumption is zero. This happens at four customers. Please help

Regulator or pilot is not “locking up” or “seating off” check pilot seats/orifices and main boot.

Why doesn't this regulator pass gas when the inlet pressure is 15 psi or less?

The inlet pressure needs to overcome loading pressure plus the force of the main spring.

Also, the flexible element (boot) requires a certain differential that increases or decreases depending on its characteristics.

Is there a difference between bleed line vs control or sense line or just different terms for same thing ?

@@nickmurphy3935yes. Sense is the communication back to reg. Bleed or dump is just gas going back into the mix.
