I think one of the most underrated and underappreciated things in this game is itemization into lane matchups. People just rush cookie cutter items that technically synergize with their abilities, without even considering if they will get to actually use those abilities in lane, and for the rest of the game. If you lose control of your lane, not only will you be stuck on a component and not even be able to complete that item easily, but you can end up chain dying and giving your lane opponent a 1000+ gold lead to snowball against the rest of your team. At that point, so much for your "synergy" with your item disadvantage, and have fun trying to use those abilities. You only ever get the opportunity to go "scaling builds" if you have enough ranged wave clear to safely hold your lane without giving a single plate, for basically ever. If you can't hold your lane forever, then you have no business building items on the basis of "synergy", you need to build to take an advantage in lane, or build to spam ganks while ceding the lane, but the first option is always better and safer than the second option.

@@claireredfield4842 Absolutely, totally agree. I can't believe how many people I see complain that Darius is overpowered, without ever taking phase rush and ghost or exhaust with their flash. With phase rush on most champions, even if theoretically lose an extended fight, you just delete the slow from his w with phase rush, run, and he never catches you. He can't even stack his passive on you for the bleed, let alone kill you. Darius is just such a trash champion that I can easily out scale and shut down with like over 20 picks. Now that Titanic can be bought on Ranged, I'd be so curious to try an on hit Twitch build with it. Something like shieldbow, rageknife, Bork, titanic, ldr, guinsoo's, boots. I bet it would be so tanky.

as a neeko supp main here is a trick i like to do in case you’re in danger. instead of aiming your clone fowards to escape backwards (assuming your not mirrored) aim it backwards then go sideways i’ve used to escape so many times or even make it into an engage. the fowards backwards shenanigans is just too predictable at this point!

@@berkant3599 sure they are, i play more mid now but my strat for supp is if you see that your adc is trash and their botlane is solid (meaning you cant 1v2) just say fuck him, rush mobility boots and roam. Depending on matchup play electrocute and go for rocketbelt first. dont hesitate to take kills because the ap scaling is nuts. Also if anyone talks trash about your pick or roaming mute them.

actually, Ap Neeko support is a common pick in Low elo Latam servers, it is exceptionally good whit Jhin because of his W making a Cc chain, but isnt rare see a 2 Ap botlane w morgana or Swain. In the last case it can be a perfect Gank from the Neeko's team

I've been doing this for months, the only difference is I don't play ranked and they play in korean ranked. Neeko is an amazing support pick and is actually pretty mobile with her W movement speed and her passive W movement speed, her only ability that doesnt really have mobility is her R. I love playing Neeko if I think the adc I'm playing with isn't good stat wise because she can hold her own because of how much cc and damage she can get it. There are times in lanes where I can 1v1 the enemy adc as the support and coming out without using any sums. Shes a great support I'd say.

He is 100% getting boosted. If you look through his match history you can see that he randomly switched his flash from D to F around a month ago. It was also around this time that he randomly picked up Neeko (a champ he pretty much never had played before) and started one tricking her with a 70% winrate. The amount of games he plays also heavily changed. He didn't play on a regular basis from september to december, and managed to play roughly 22 games during those 4 months, with around 1-3 games during the days he plays. Now that he switched his flash key and plays Neeko he has played 53 games during only these past 2 weeks, and the day he plays he plays like 10+ games. It is already sus that he went from plat to masters in a couple of weeks after being stuck in plat for 2 seasons. No one switches key for flash after 4 years of playing and at the same time finds his magical off-meta pick and blasts to masters. That dude is getting mega-boosted! Great video by way! Very informative and it is fun to see off-meta picks work in high elo.

quick tip on her clone: after using it only click ONCE to move, this will keep you in a perfect line, looking exactly like a clone. If you spam move like we normally do there will be little variants in your angle, making it obvious you are the real neeko and thus wasting mana, a cooldown and possibly getting yourself killed/missing a kill

I mean DogLightning has been doing this for ages and he's got Grand Master on two accounts using her. Also taking E first isn't recommended. W first to get your passive proc for the poke, and then get your passive ready for the level up. Immediately take E, root an enemy and all in them with your ADC using your empowered auto to chunk them.

I think best sync with Neeko sp is ezreal because the best way to minimize Neeko in lane pre 6 with stand from creep, which is FAR EASIER for those Q and W to hit. She deals less damage (Q and E duh) in a perma freeze and have a high chance of breaking your freeze. It hurt
