Africa isn't poor but those who are rich don't invest their money in things that will uplift the majority. E.g. Billionaires in the US donated money to build libraries, railways, universities etc across the country. You hardly saw African millionaires or rich people doing that in the 80s and 90s. Governments alone cannot develop a country. We need to invest not only in hotels, clubs and houses but in schools, drains, roads, railways etc.

You need to ask yourself where an investor can get a whopping US $650 million to invest in golfing in a poor country. Think hard because even a whole government of Kenya does not get such a loan from the world bank easy peasy. I will say it again, USD 650 MILLION, money that even American billionaires cannot get as a loan from huge banks like City Bank.

That place is massive! One thing I would suggest, and to similar places all over Africa, is the grass manitenance. There are a lot of dead brown patches on the grass. It is usually caused by damaged soil and lack of water. If that can be sorted out, would be a thing of beauty, especially from a bird's eye view.

This is lovely and I'm really proud, my only criticism is for the private houses, please encourage trees, shrubs and flowers. By doing this you help to beautify the area, you invite birds, bees and such. Let's learn to live with more nature around us.
