You speak the truth. I escaped from 30 year marriage 'sentence' 10 years ago. Best thing I ever did even though it was financially painful. Now I've got my own place, no mortgage, don't owe a penny to anyone, bought a convertible sports car and a new Kawasaki Z1000. Life couldn't be better. ;-)

There's just something about you and road, the heightened senses, the constant state of awareness, the engagement of your hands and feet on your bike, and the engine hum beneath you, these small parts that amalgamate into a feeling of inexplicable joy that really is truly explainable unless you experience it. My most memorable moment thus far riding was hitting an on ramp from one highway to another and it pointed me directly as the sunset - it was goddamn memorizing. I can say with 100% certainty I've been on the same on ramp, same situation, but in a car with no effect. It's the bike - the bike is the conduit.

For me I am medicated for it and it isn't as simple as getting on my motorcycle and feeling adrenaline rushes nothing brought me joy and I never had any drive to do anything I don't agree with biking will "cure" depression but it is more of a band-aid to keep your mind busy which does help

@Pep Rex, I don't want to tell you if you SHOULD or SHOULD NOT, but for me it's good. I of course am on medication all the time, but getting the chance to ride alone, cruise around, or just get some stupid risky moves which give me adrenaline rushes, do help me a little bit. The question is: do you like motorcycles and you feel like it's something that can give you a little bit of joy? Then yes. If you never wanted a bike, never was a motorcycle fan, then don't. That's how i see it. I always wanted a bike, I always was turning my head when I saw a bike passing by. I always loved the sound of bikes. So Cruza's vlog just motivated me MORE to get a bike. But it wasn't the main decider

Cyclecruza, ive lived in the chicago area since i was 18 didnt buy a bike till i was 20 those 2 years were the most lonely years of my life. No friends, just work then home. After i got my bike i met friends that also ride. actually my now roomate was one of those riders. "Biker friends" are not friends, they are my family. I was t boned on that bike last season, broke 2 fingers had absolutely no gear on. As assumed i now wear at least boots, pants, helmet, gloves, long sleeves. Id say the bike life brought me out of my slump i was in and i couldnt be happier/agree with you more. Keep posting man! Im now 22 and just bought another bike 3 weeks ago already put 1k on her!

Abel Babel something the majority of people seem to miss. It's amazing how many people don't know the difference between sadness, depression, and clinical depression. Honestly I think even in clinical depression riding a motorcycle can help momentarily but it's no cure and only masks the problem, not to mention the danger of riding in that mental state.

I respectfully disagree with you on this point brother. A good woman will make you aspire to be a better person. I was married in my early 20's and it failed epically. After several years being single and doing my thing, I met my wife and haven't looked back. She supports my riding and everything else I want to do. The only thing she asks is that the bills be paid with a cushion in case some bullshit should arise. She works just as hard as I do to help me accomplish my goals. It's a partnership and it works for me. Different strokes for different folks my friend. But I respect your opinion on the matter. Keep up the good work with your vids.

Yeah some people change after marriage and want to control the other person. I think it's better to just be in a relationship, if gets bad, it's easy to get out without getting the court and lawyers involved. Marriage is big business. Even the easiest divorce costs money.

I reckon he's a full-on MGTOW but won't use the language of the MGTOW community anywhere in public, because MGTOW is a sort of social movement, and like all social movements it will be infiltrated and undermined, attacked, mocked, disparaged and eventually its followers stamped out by SJWs or simply outlawed. He hasn't burned his bridges and even when he has done so, he won't be willing to carry the cross.

We see things differently. You used the word 'we', which means you admit that MGTOW is a collective. You say it hasn't been compromised, but it has been infiltrated before, and its weakness is infiltration, which is why those outsiders are strictly vetted and excluded. Its reliance on social media means it has been vulnerable to attack (a couple of big MGTOW KZbin channels have been taken down). Its current challenges are the threat posed by Blue Pill trad-con co-opting and intrusion (Jordan Peterson and alt-right) and incel Elliot Rogers losers, who I can't stand, coming on board. I see it as a movement that tries hard not to be one, but is heavily dependent on social media as an educational/discussion resource, and has the same weaknesses as any other group of people.

Scariest motorcycling moment ever that didn't end in a crash? Mine was on my Honda VTX 1800. 1500 pounds of me, wife, bike, and luggage cruising at 70 mph in the country in South Ohio. Hit a sharp hill crest and went airborne. Bike took it like a champ but took hours for my balls to drop. Three months later I got my experience with a crash when a drunk chick stepped out in front of me. Knocked her 120 feet and she woke up 3 days later with a concussion and a broken arm. My wife fell off the back of the bike but had gear so just a bit of road rash. I got away with a sprained back and somehow didn't lay down the bike. Road that tank to the hospital behind the ambulance. Be careful out there guys!

About the topic of loneliness. Just stay busy is the best way I know to beat it. Go out and volunteer some where, like a local animal shelter. It'll give yourself pride, keep you too tired to feel bad, and you'll meet lots of great people.

My late wife only rode with me once. Granted it was an '03 zx9r; and the sport bike forced her to hold me tight and she never felt safe. You know how women are. They prefer a safe nest without any threats. I put 100 miles a day for my work, six days a week on that bike. Best riding time of my life, after the '86 V-Max 12 hour run, north and back. My butt burned with pain, but I loved that bike.

the problem i have is in my country we can't get any good bikes anything over 450cc is illegal and we have about 230% import tax but if you know people who can call the police and tell them to leave you alone then you can get any bike you like
