Living in Dallas I remember this vividly. Jerry and the nfl did their own investigation and agreed he was innocent and that’s when Jerry signed him. But he never was able to shake the albatross of that incident and his career suffered for it. Tragic story all around

What are you talking about? There was no albatross, once he was cleared of any involvement it wasn’t mentioned again here in Dallas and both the Cowboys and Cincy gave him nice contracts. The negativity he carried was getting suspended over PED testing and the lingering back issues FlemLo mentioned in the vid

@@kabob21 I somewhat agree with you, but the truth is it WAS brought up a lot, and if you don’t think he was mentally stunted by that whole incident, which in turn affected his growth as a player you’re lying to yourself. He never developed into the player his potential indicated which is why he’s no longer a cowboy and may be out of cincy soon. You might not like my comment, but that doesn’t make it less true

RIP Mills. Between this and the whole Laremy Tunsil situation in 2016, the mid-2010s NFL Drafts were crazy. Glad Collins still carved out a solid career, and that Tunsil played well enough to get a fat contract of his own.

You do an awesome job telling people's stories the way they should be, from a human standpoint. A lot of media tells stories from a sensationalism view not with no, "2 sides to every story" thought process. Being around athletes from all sports a good portion of my life rarely are the true facts brought to light because it would show a story as, "Gray" and not black and white so to speak. Knowing personally some of the people you've highlighted it is truly appreciated.

I heard this story before from a different KZbin channel, and it still breaks my heart to know Collins went through all this simply cause his name was implicated. In a way, I do think the Cowboys got lucky with giving Collins a chance, cause realistically, they would not have gotten him at the 27th spot, which was where they picked in 2015 (ended up with DB Byron Jones). Collins was a part of that rebuilt "Great Wall of Dallas" that helped propel Ezekiel Elliott to stardom. That being said, I offer my condolences to the Mills family for their loss, and I certainly hope justice can eventually be served on the culprit responsible for a tragic loss of a young life.

There is no way Collins, a 1st rd draft prospect should have been fucking with a 29 year old woman and that had multiple boyfriends to the point where she didnt know who the baby father was. She was letting all kinds of dudes hit raw including Collins. And judging from the story, most of those dudes weren't great ppl as one of them pulled up on her and asked her to borrow her car and eventually murdered her.
