It’s heartbreaking when no one shows up to your child party. It’s happened a lot since one my kids birthdays is the 4th of July. He’s 9 now but every year we tried to throw him a party it was a flop. Now He definitely understands that sharing his bday with his country means sacrificing a typical bday party lol. But we always do something special for him now just as a family.

@longnamedude39474 жыл бұрын
There is, actually. Knowing you raised a good kid, that actively encourages others to be good kids and helps those most in need, even when nothing is said :) Autism can be very difficult to cope with even as an adult, as a child it can be almost impossible to cope with, especially like is mentioned in the video about large crowds of people. And yet these group of kids brought out the best of themselves to the word, and not just once, but continually, always putting the more defenceless young kids first, that's good parenting all around by all parents of the kids in this story. Having the kindness to put others first at all times. It will be great to see how things turn out in a few years time as they grow older, I can see a long term friendship in this video despite what differences you may see on the surface between them (Age, mental ability, etc).

ish Sadnezz they’re just following a crowd, if you stick up for mentally challenged kids or gay kids you’ll see that the person doing the bullying doesn’t mean it they just want to make it clear that they’re against them to fit in with the crowd. I have a gay friend and me and him are both males and people automatically think just because i support him than i myself have to be gay. It just goes to show that they’re more interested in being accepted than putting other people’s emotions into consideration.

"Old school" parenting is needed to raise a respectful, kind child. I have seen many kids along with friends do good deeds who weren't raise by "old school" parents. I may have been hit with a belt once, if that, and I think I turned out pretty damn well along with being told so.

The second I saw the little boys mum smile when she said that their reactions shocked her, I started smiling, I already knew why they did was the right thing. You can tell how happy the mother was. God bless them all xx

my nephew has autism and it's really hard for him to make friends. this means a lot not only to the families but means so much to the child too. makes me feel really warm inside.

I've seen so many awful stories about bullying, it's so refreshing to see a kid with a great heart like Gavin. His mom deserves to be proud!

I'm happy these kids showed kindness to this boy. They didn't care if he was autistic, they wanted to be friends with him and that means so much to me. My brother is autistic and I was always worried people would treat him badly or different because of how he was, especially as he was younger when he didn't talk very much. Thankfully we went to a school where people were nice to each other. I'm not as worried as I used to be, (I still have my moments though) he just turned 24 a couple weeks ago and he is very independent and is able to talk to people and has friends he's met.

Imma just let y’all know at a skatepark nobody is going to be toxic. I’ve been to so many parks and have met a bunch of genuine and nice people.

My nephew is autistic and this is so heartwarming! Most kids and adults instantly step back or ignore a kid who’s on spectrum!! This is amazing! I also love the positive story of skateboarders! 🥰

I hope Gavin and Carter are still friends to this day. Touched my heart as an adult with autism who held any interpersonal care for myself from others on the highest level. That little boy is gonna remember this fondly for the rest of his life.
