Her Q cancels his W, her E is active for half the spears, while costing way less mana (and Panth needs to hit the other ones in a 5s window), and she is a ranged champion. Also, if Panth is bad outside lane phase if he doesn’t win lane. Janna is still brings utility if things go wrong, not the ideal, but still a plan B.

I remember when janna's passive ratio was even stronger I learned to play her that 'style' as support and it was the most fun i've had i'm honestly ashamed I didn't think of trying it top or mid even to compensate for the weaker ratios by having solo gold... I like theorizing about split push strategies (tower taking speed / wave clear / escape / duelling or 1vX scaling as all important variables) but somehow I never connected her hilarious "can't catch meeee" supporting with applying to split pushing. thank you for sharing this chime noises guy, because my silver ass wouldn't ever get to see that guy to have the eureka moment

I used to play this Janna play style in rank long time ago, only real way to make you die is 3 enemies with super hard disengage at roughly same time, like Camile with Akali and J4 all ult at you successively.

zekent did top lane split push janna in early seasons of league of legends. I remember using his match up chart guide. He was a top laner in the LCS for a brief time. This is not the first time we've seen this and in fact it used to be waaaay better because janna has been nerfed more times than any champion in the game (last time I checked at least, it's been awhile)

i used to play something like this when the sacred sword or whatever skin came out which was some time ago at this point so ive tested this out a bit. something i havent tested but i think may be good with the watching of this video is that tanky lux build from earlier this season with rod of ages, liandries ,unending despair but instead of conq go fleet for the spacing and sorc tree for scorch and celerity and i think youre cookin there. i wish i could talk to this guy and see what he thought lol

I remember being a janna main in wild rift, i was so good at it that i "carried" as support, but they reworked her and ruinned every single part of the skill ceiling of the champ: auto target shield, auto target w and the tornado cast time became fixed, only thing good about it was that the ult heal stayed there and she could move, literally mundo has more skill ceiling than her at this point
