Honestly stories like this just make me feel so sad, for them. Like yeah, they did a lot of stupid, some absolutely unmentionable, things, but the fact that they were given a second chance, multiple chances really when you look at it, and just...not learning from it. I think this is a bit of a "chicken or egg" situation. Yes, he lost all that fame, money, and prestige because he was acting like a douche and he harassed girls, but if you think about it, why did he became famous and successful in the first place? For being a loud, brash, aggressive extrovert. The streaming industry selectively promotes people like him, because their unbridled, impulsive personalities are really popular, but those same personality traits that make them successful are also the ones responsible for getting them into trouble and resulting in getting cancelled. In many ways, it's just like how the producers running reality TV shows purposefully pick the contestants with the most extreme personalities and conflicting values, to guarantee that they would get into conflicts with each other, and chances are, the majority of these people end up as wrecks. However, it's hard to decide if their lives get screwed over because they were on a reality TV show, or they already had screwy lives and personalities, and that's why they ended up in a reality show in the first place.

Hard to say which it is, but one definitely makes the other worse.
