I always pronounced it "Youn" because when I first read the lore I read it that way, I then found a lore channel called Necrit and he pronounced it that way too and I never heard anyone pronounce it "Yo-Ne" until the card game pronounced it "Yo-Ne." I tried to pronounce it right when Yone came out but honestly I'm so used to calling him "Youn" that I don't know if I'll ever pronounce it "Yo-Ne."

Na. This Game is more than that. Even if you get good enough. U still can't carry most of the time. These high ranked players who says don't find excuses. Jgl diff or mid diff are the nerds who wasted minimum +5 years of playing the game and learning everything about it just to get to a higher rank. Bruh it's such a big waste of time. Basically there is a new patch coming on 24th Nov and then 1 more December 9th. Unfortunatly Yone and Yasuo may both struggle until January if the Dec patch doesnt help crit items. In the mean time I would reccommend the crit build in the video and practicing Yone for when the new season starts in January, or pray for some buffs in 10.25 Dec 9th!

I really like Dzukill's mindset, I think you explained it something like "it's not another player's fault if you die." (I dumbed it down a lot for simplicity) I think that's a good mindset because it prevents toxicity, a problem the game has been suffering from for a LONG time and probably at it's worst currently. Secondly because it forces you to evaluate on what you did wrong in that moment you died/made a mistake so you won't die/make that mistake next time. I envy him for his mindset, I consider myself a level-headed player for the most part but there are times I get heated and say things I tell myself I shouldn't have after the game ends and I've had time to cool down and reflect, I think I'll try to adopt his mindset too.

Both mindsets are bad?? It's like people only deal on ultimatums. You can make mistakes in a drake teamfight while at the same time 2 of your teammates are farming top and jungle monsters, you can make an outplay and still die because all your teammates missed their skillshots or you can die for bad positioning.

often times the enemy jungler constantly means you are the weak side of the map which means your jungler should not come to you as they should go to your teams strong side. At that point your goal should be to ward more heavily and play extra safe. My advice would be to ward under your tower in the jungle so you can see the enemy coming to tower dive you and you can just back off. Sure you are losing ground, but their jungler is also not farming so if your jungler is doing something it's net even.

If you are dying too much there is not point in gaking, is better to try to make bot or mid get feed to win than going top and giving a double kill to the 6/0/0 darius, i say this as a top main.

I remember playing a mid game with Yone against an Ashe supported by a Lux (they had no jg) and I was horrified, because I was forced to farm under turret with varying success, while still being harassed by both due to their range. That game I thought I was done for, because I was behind on cs and had no kills, yet once my first turret fell, my bot laners and jg actually came to relieve me, thus ending the laning phase. I used the early stages of the teamfights to catch up on cs and get a few solo kills. By the late game I was an absolute monster; I got several doubles, a triple and a quadra, I even saved some teammates from certain death by simply appearing next to them, because no one wanted to risk it. I ended the game with a 28/3/8 and it is my best Yone game to this day. This proves that if you feed in lane, it’s not your jungler’s fault or the fact that the enemy champ is “op”. Yone is not an op champ, he’s only a B tier mid-laner. I did so well because I knew how to play my champion, knowing his advantages and limitations, thus coming out on top of two champs officially higher tier than Yone

As a Yone player, I disagree with your commentary about E. You're right that one aspect of E is to know your damage at every stage of the game and who you should chase while you got it active, but I think the most important part that separates a good vs a bad Yone is not knowing their damage on E, but how they use their E to its fullest potential. That means utilizing its full duration but also knowing how it can be used creatively beyond dodging skill shots or chase enemies down. Yone's E is the most versatile and creative part of his kit and is what makes his champion work. Taking Yone to his full potential means knowing how to use his E to its full potential. E is Yone's utility tool - that it does damage and quite a lot of it in the mid to late game, is just an added bonus.

Ironically that’s the hardest thing about Yone is learning his E because Yone’s Kit is pretty simple and straightforward and by far in my opinion out of the champs with high difficulty, Yone is the easiest to learn (Followed by Irelia) you just have to know his limits with each item and level and you can carry the game. Learning when to use his E like for dodging skill shots or to reposition him is something that cannot be taught because you will learn it yourself when you play Yone a lot as it will become second nature for the player and the second hard thing about playing him is knowing his damage with his current equipped item and level! It’s all about testing and thanks to his E, he can pretty much test his damage by going in for the trade to see how much damage he can deal and if something goes wrong you can E back to safety as it acts as a safety net and because of that Yone is more forgiving than Yasuo.

It's true that Yone has to commit less for a trade, but he's also punished much harder for mispositioning due to worse mobility. Yes, Yone has mobility with E and R, but only R is a blink whereas E snaps him in place which makes him just as vulnerable as Zoe. Yone can skirmish and does it quite well and can duel most duelists on even or better terms when ahead, but Yasuo does it better. Yasuo also has conditional mobility in that he prefers fighting around creep so he can dash around to stack his flow and Q, but when that condition is met, he's definitely more mobile than Yone with greater juking potential. His shield and windwall are also superior defensive tools compared to Yone's W. So while this means that Yasuo has to commit harder than Yone, his kit is more versatile and less one-dimensional compared to Yone's. This is why I say that Yone is really more like an AD control mage because during the landing phase he wants to poke his enemy down with E and Q combos before setting up an all in, and just like a control mage he also has a good team fight setup with his ultimate and really excels at front-to-back team fights late game, but if he's caught out he blows up really badly, because he has no escape tools at all. Yone is all about making plays using his E and is extremely vulnerable when it's on cooldown. He also definitely deals less damage than Yasuo in a 1v1 (the matchup definitely favors Yasuo) but is compensated by better team fighting and generally good scaling.

@@entropicplays162 Yasuo is more of a anti Ranged/Mage because of his Wall and his Dashes Yone is more of a anti melee because of his E and his Q dash But yeah, Yone’s trading pattern is one dimensional as everything he does is Telegraph thus making his trading patten predictable While Yasuo is very versatile,unpredictable and unorthodox to the point that when you lane against a good Yasuo with perfect mechanics it is literally unfair HAHAHA! But Yone is a solo queue friendly champ as he can fight in his own terms without relying much on his allies where as Yasuo relies more on his allies for good initation!

1 of them builds into Immortal Shield bow(Or Kraken if you choose that). The other 1 can be built into Mortal Reminder, otherwise sell it for 5th item. Keeping the 100% crit isnt that important with this build, the cloaks mostly just help with early-mid damage then become much less useful than Death's Dance for example

This video was made before season 11 get roll in, the problem with pre season 11 for Yasuo and Yone is that their passive used to buff the crit chance by 100% rather than 150% after the rework, this make them weak af if they go with the normal build (which previously was including phantom dancer due to it's shield) but pre season was going against ADC directly as they seem to be too strong in previous season due to able to build IE so fast especially on Yasuo and Yone, IE then get nerf that it required 60% crit and crit also only deal 75% additional damage, which is very gold inefficient for an item that cost 3400 gold, but then Guinsoo come in to the party as some how as a saviour, created a some Yasuo 12 years old or something because I forgot the mobafire links, this fixed 2 problem, 1st now you don't have to pay that much of money, you can even build the knife that transfer crit into damage and still get the same result you build some more cloak, 2nd it removed a passive damage nerf that Yasuo and Yone has as it is basically crit but on-hit I personally hate this meta and despite playing Yasuo and Yone at the pre season, only to get back to them nowadays

You might think it's that easy but it's still way too risky to go for the E for a kill if not necessary. I kid you not, in the short reactivation window that Yone's E has, a lot of champions can heal or get shielded or even level up from a minion. It sounds like a really niche scenario but trust me it happens A LOT, and it's the most unsatisfying thing ever

Yone can be played so safely top in high elo it's insane, if you ever die to a gank with it, it's on you. Pretty much able to farm for late and scale vs all meta champs, even if he doesn't win lane. Hate this playstyle, they should nerf his zed ult duration tbh.

But you can't make your teammates better. Look at it like a single player game: You're thrown into a challenge but this time the difficulty to win it is random. Sometimes you will have an easy time even though you lost lane and sometimes being pretty good isn't even enough. But if you play really well every time your winrate will go above 50 percent.
