Much respect to Russell Wilson. After losing the game, the way he congratulated Rodgers. It shows what good sportsmanship is like. Same respect also to Mike Tomlin, when the Steelers lost the Super Bowl to the Packers, the way he congratulated his players after the game was encouraging to his players and showed good sportsmanship. Nobody likes to lose the big ones. It takes a real man to face it and not be bitter.

This was the last big game I watched at a bar pre-COVID. Portland is kind of neutral territory, but its relative proximity to Washington state means a lot of Seattle transplants, so I was one of a handful of people representing the green and gold. That pivotal moment--after what felt like an eternity of wondering--is one I will never forget.

Idk what the Seahawks were thinking on the 3rd down with Adams, you have 6 defensive backs and you have Lano hill play the safety over the top? Not Diggs? Plus you rush Bobby who’s your best cover linebacker? And you don’t disguise your coverage at the line you show man to arod like that? What did they think would happen that Amadi would hold up in 1 on 1 coverage? That your pass rush would get home before Rodgers could get the throw off? If your gonna have 6 DBs I would show man then drop into a zone. Try to put your players in the best position to succeed Seattle don’t let them get burned like that on live tv

As a Seahawks fan I have been frustrated with the play calling on both sides of the ball this season. The loss to the Packers was the exposure of what's wrong in Seattle. Defense plays to their own weaknesses, instead of the opposition. Offense plays to their own weaknesses, instead of the opposition. Going Forward Next Season: More explosive 💣 plays in the first quarter / half, c'mon Pete! The Hawks need to play a different strategy altogether; If we are going to be competitive in the Superbowl next year, we have to keep up with (likely) either the Ravens or the Chiefs. Both AFC teams can put up 40 points per tilt. Offseason, let's get a leader on defense who works well with Bobby Wags, and a standout tight end that Russell can depend on in tough situations. And lastly, Get two or three great offensive lineman, so he can make his first read targets 🎯. If RW could even scramble 50 percent less next year, that would give the Hawks a huge boost.

The players perform their roles to the best of their ability and respect each other. This was a great game. Russell Wilson is a great qb with a Wisconsin history too. My heart was broken again the next week. The game plan was not good enough to beat those Irish alcoholics coaches game plan.

Rodgers throws that over the shoulder pass so damn smooth its scary, I mean the way he just floats it out there with a little flick of the wrist, unreal! If a-rod had the caliber of players tom Brady had all these years I bet Rodgers would have 10 rings no kidding aside, the reason why Brady has been able to play so long is because he never gets touched. Rodgers whole career has had to make plays with his feat because he's never had the o lines like Brady has had. I still think Rodgers is the goat, people can say all they want about Brady having 5 rings but when you compare the two Rodgers hands down is way more talented then Brady!
@unholydiver10954 жыл бұрын
Looking back at the Packers really emphasizes how this league is all about matchups. The 49ers were a terrible matchup for the Packers, but the 49ers are a better matchup for the Seahawks (both games they played were very close), but the Packers still beat the Seahawks. Packers would've fared better against the Chiefs (not saying they would've beat them, just that it would've been closer than their game against the 49ers) even though the Chiefs beat the 49ers, who blew out the Packers. What makes the NFL unique compared to all other sports. Why you can't compare it with any other sport. Which makes it stupid when people compare situations with NFL players with situations with NBA player
@quietenglishman41794 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think you're right. The Packers' edge rushers are sound but sometimes the middle of the field look awfully soft. Hopefully when/if they have to play the 49ers this year, they can get out to a big lead to force them to pass more.

Good job, but you are glorifying this guy a bit too much. The Seahawks, who were essentially missing half their starters, came back from an 18 point halftime deficit and almost pinched the game away, on the road, against a team that was much more healthy and rested. There was throw that Hollister (I believe) couldn't quite catch, which would have kept a drive in the 4th going and would given the Seahawks a great chance to push for the TD, but couldn't. Give Wilson the same OL that Rodgers has, and the Seahawks win, no doubt. Can't wait for next season. Hopefully the Hawks are much more healthy and can have some consistency in who is playing and who is not and not always waiting a day or two before the game to decide who is healthy enough to start.
