Yeah I know it's expensive but it's unique. I don't look at that 2nd screen as a gaming display but more like a screen where I could put other things on there like KZbin and on the other side a communication app like you mentioned.

I think this would be good for professional gamers that stream, using the second screen for OBS or other software needed, especially since it’s touch screen you can adjust settings on the fly without having to tab out. It also looks good for music production 😸

I've been using zenbook 14 duo from a couple of years now and I'd say this is a good upgrade once you get used to using the TouchPad and keyboard it's good also the 2nd screen really comes handy in any case so I'd NOT A marketing gimmick

as a proud owner of a zephyrus duo 16 2023 i can confirm this gaming laptop is a beast and handles games like remnant 2 with ease at maximum quality. thank you for this great review it was very awesome. also i bought mine configured through xotic pc so if you happen to have the original wallpapers for both top screen and bottom i would greatly appreciate it.

I'm using it in unity to create vfx. The second screen I use for scene view, while I can work with nodes in the main screen. The only cons is the cpu heat. Played BG 3 on ultra. This beast is perfect

7945HX mind blowing scaling due to efficiency of Zen 4 and 5nm TSMC node. CBR23 Multicore: At 65W -> 29000 At 128W -> 35000 Cons : Higher Idle power draw due to chiplet architecture ( separate I/O die) and so poor battery life (all 7045HX laptops). For the best balance of performance and battery, you have to stick with 6 or 8 cores monolithic APUs i.e Pheonix Range 7040HS series.

Way more powerful an large the duo is made to be smaller more productive version of you talking about the older school duo. New duo kind is same story but with much larger screens for working with

Too much problem with drivers. I bought this laptop and faced the problem of blue screens and a dead keyboard driver after a reboot. It turned out that the critical error was the fault of Aida64. But that's not all. AMD's Adrenaline Driver could also be the source of the problem. Many buyers complained about the unstable operation of the laptop.

I bought this laptop as well just when it came out earlier this year, although its an impressive piece of hardware. I bought it exclusively for gaming, it gets TOO HOT and TOO LOUD.. but its a beautiful piece of hardware, I wish they could optimize the cooling more. Cheers.!

I have the same Problems with the laptop. Sometimes the keyboard just dies, blue screens etc. I helped to downgrade to windows 10... but still sometimes it happens. Do you know if there was a solution?

@@swiss_crypto6596 I'm surprised the problem hasn't been fixed yet. I had this problem when launching AIDA64, but with new versions of this program it was fixed. Try to force install all drivers from the official website. Windows auto-update can break ASUS drivers

Zenbook duo dont have the Gamerish look That one is the non gamer duo. i use my zephyrus 2nd gen duo 2nd screen for twitchchat and OBS lol my friend uses his for discord just use a cooler for extra angle also the zephy duo even comes with a box that does that angle Most highest end gamer setup have more than 2 screens more often than not

This is definitely what ASUS is marketing the Zephyrus Duo 16 as a Gaming First and Creator Second laptop. Someone that reviews or play lots of games and uses the laptop as a secondary for content creation. Asus has another laptop with dual screen that is directed for those using content creating first and gaming second. Zenbook Pro Duo You need to study the ASUS line up before making such a comment

I got this version I use it for Unreal 5, Substance Painter, Blender, and all my game development. I use the second screen for all my shaders and color palettes and also for watching tutorials when working it's fucking amazing. This is not for playing games it is for professionals who are making games on the go :) If you are not a game developer it's not for you just get a gaming laptop. Also, you can turn off the second screen.

I mean thats not the only demographic, for me i need wide adobergb as well as srgb coverage to work as an editor and colorist. Funnily enough, buying this laptop is still cheaper then buying a display calibrator on its own. 16:10 apect ratio is perfect also for my timeline as well as the second screen having space for my hdr color knobs in DaVinci.
