Fantastic machine. I think you have it idling around 600 or maybe 550 rpm. I know the engine will run at 450 rpm. However, anything below 900 rpm is not good for the big end bearings of the connecting rods. The engine jerks the bearings to strongly at low rpm. If you like to rebuild engines then continue the 550 rpm, it sure sounds sweet to my ear.

I've watched this video 163000 times it's inspired me so much I went out and bought myself a 75 Ironhead Kickstart only and in the middle of building a bike pretty similar to this mine has a bit of differences like a white wall back tire and a Springer front end so on and so on but the same idea and a lot of the same parts I just want to say thanks for the awesome video it's inspired me to build my own

The color of the tank and seat are beautiful. The rake is what I prefer and the controls setting midway compliment that spring seat.
