Fantastic video! It is refreshing to see such a direct response to the question of Nerf blaster accuracy. I have plenty of non-Nerfing friends who smirk at the idea that Nerf blasters are capable of utilizing the same basic principles and methods used in rifle marksmanship. And you have demonstrated that at 30 meters, the blaster can, on average, hit a target the size of a torso or even a head of lettuce at that distance. I admit, I was initially concerned about the wind leading to poor results and thus negative conclusions about their accuracy potential. But given your results, I would argue that the obvious presence of wind only further solidifies the conclusion of your results! If the blaster can shoot with such a group through gusts that are moving tree limbs, imagine how precise they could be without! Your clearly presented and articulate videos are doing those of us within the hobby a great service!

It's hard to say accurately how windy it was, but personally I would have preferred you firing with as little windage affecting you as possible. That being said, I am thoroughly impressed by the sheer accuracy both rounds displayed in spite of the perceived wind. Never paid much heed to people actually firing nerf guns stronger than maybe 100-150fps. Seeing those rounds going at a velocity equivalent to lower powered airsoft guns (Tokyo Marui or a bit stronger comparatively) and hitting those groupings at that distance is mighty impressive. Definitely an interesting watch. Keep up the good work mate!
@BradleyPhillipsYT4 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video. While the wind does skew the results a little, there's also the thought that it makes it more realistic to what you could expect in an actual skirmish, possibly even as a worst case scenario as it was very windy.
