I dont play, nor like nerf that much, but your videos are always super interesting to see how far a dart gun can be pushed to its limits and the tech made for it. and its always a good watch!

I know it's not your cup of tea/bread and butter/whatever other idioms, but I'd be interested to see tests at 100, 130, 150, 200, and 250 ft/s to see how velocity might come into play. Additionally, testing flywheels to see string vs. bearings might illustrate some differences. Your thoroughness is very, very informative and elucidative, and while such velocity/accuracy testing might not need to be *as* exhaustive as this here, I think even basic testing would suffice.

Love the video and the rifling tech and how it's evolved. Any particular reason you didnt include one that works via air as well as a string and bearing? or a PCAR?
@BradleyPhillipsYT4 сағат бұрын
I've always found PCARs and air ones don't really work as well as SCAR and BCAR designs.

Hey, Bradley could you answer few question for me please ? 1. What is the general rule of thumb where it comes to selecting the right BCAR twist rate/angle and blaster fps ? In one place they say its more angle for more fps in other less angle for less fps and I'm confused. Also how does more/less bearings affect that ? BTW it would be logical to assume more bearings = more friction = less fps I think. 2. I had a thread on Reddit "Weird thing about my DZ BCAR" few people had also commented and it seems that in some cases twisting a BCAR left or right affects the darts. Any thoughts ?
@BradleyPhillipsYT8 сағат бұрын
Higher fps requires less twist rate as the velocity itself also dictates how fast the dart will be spinning after going through said rifling.
@Mentosdog6 сағат бұрын
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Thank you. That does make sense. Blaster Time was wrong then when stating that a Worker 15 degree bcar is good for blasters shooting above 200 fps. They have also stated that an 8 degree one is good for a range of 120-250 fps. I swear it's so much easier in airsoft with different fps, barrel lenghts, ammo weight and hop-up rubber hardness 😅

Im really hoping out of darts will carry the t darts. I really like the purple color too. Have you tried X shots short darts? They’re basically dart zone rubies except with stiffer foam. So they’re way more resilient and the heads don’t pop off like workers.
