Qin Haiyan won 15 consecutive races in 2023, 5 crowns 50 100 200. Now his sole existence is to break 100 meter record and shut up the arrogant British!

Well Qin cannot be the GOAT either because he only has the 200 wr. Peaty has both the 50 and the 100 by a huge margin. So, Peaty is definitely the best by far from this generation of swimmers. Maybe not of all time, but his dominance does make him a contender. I do agree though that one must get the 100 and 200 to be crowned GOAT. Like Kitajima.
