Hebrew speaker here, Genesis 2:21-22 is not a mis interpretation, The word צלע does mean a rib in Hebrew, therefore it also means 'side'. In the same verse it literally says that God have put Adam asleep, took one of his ribs and closed up his flesh at that place. and then you read the next verse Adam is saying "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” The reason there is different gender rules between men and women is not because the woman was made of the rib of the man, it is because she was the one who listened to the serpent, ate from the forbidden fruit and made her man to eat from it too, as it says in Genesis 3:16 “ because you have done this... I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.” And here you have it. It doesn't say that the woman is secondary, the woman has a big rule to be a partner with man. Stop trying to invent new "revelaations" and misleading people!!

Simple, the human rib is one of the few things that can regrow if removed correctly. Second, it is a simplistic explanation for the cloning process where one half of the dna is taken, duplicated and used to form the cloned animal. Contrary to how this narrative sounds, this is not a scholarly work. People all over the world look at the original languages in the Bible everyday. The author is not only proposing a mistranslation in modern English, but possibly in every or most languages in possibly most periods in history. To say that the Biblical text does not demonstrate and even define differences between male and female is deceptive, foolish, and/or ignorant. It actually states scripturally that because Eve was so easily misled by the serpent, she was to submit and be led by her husband and suffer the pains of childbirth. It also states that because Adam harkened to the desires of his wife instead heeding to the word of the Lord as he ought to, he must earn his portions through hard work and labor. But folks always love to refer to this passage in a false content and narrative. The Rib or the Side is more or no less than the other. Which why within the sanctity of marriage, we, the husband and the wife, become one flesh again. One flesh. With God the Father at the top of the hierarchy, the husband leading the home, the wife submitting to the husband's leadership and caring for the children, putting the needs of her husband before the children. With our jobs under that of the children. If we can do this, as it is written biblically, then life is always good, and plentiful and prospers.... It is the natural order of things, as God created them. Some are probably asking, why are you putting the needs of the husband before that of the children and the wife. This is very simple. He is the leader at the helm. He carries all the burden of the entire family on his shoulders alone. However, a bungled translation of a word can create a wrong idea until it is corrected to it's proper translation, which of course makes God's Word even more obviously correct than we had previously recognized. I've always understood that rib was an abbreviation for DeoxyRIBonucleic Acid (DNA). This makes more sense to me than a rib bone. Also Adam represents humankind, which includes men and women, so it implies that when adam was created both sexes were created at the same time. Later when the Elohim take dna from humankind, they create a helper for the original creation of humankind.

Why should a book of God a book about the endless divine being be only limited to a small realm such as abbreviations or metaphors? This video has it half right, the half that the word translated to rib may mean a side, or as the video claims an equal side may be correct, as women were made equals to men, and at that moment they were. However, when Eve decided to give the forbidden fruit to her husband to eat, and he ate like the fool men are for their women, even to this very day, our Heavenly Father cursed her. The curse was that she became subservient to her husband, "And he will rule over you", subservient. She is still an equal to men, but Eve's actions make all women subservient to their husbands. What I perceive in reading and understanding the Bible is that God has intended for different roles for man and woman, husbands and wives. Man the stronger of the two , was obviously designed for the physical strength role., while women were given the less physical of the roles. It only makes sense. Now that no ways means that women are somehow less capable in other ways. The Bible has stories of Women that made a difference. In a person, when one refers to one side, you refer to the right side or the left side. Perhaps the biblical text was trying to emphasize taking 1/2 of Adam's important physical attribute, such as 1/2 of his DNA. A man has XY DNA and a woman has X.X. If God took the X DNA from a man and doubled it to create a full DNA for a woman that would give her the XX DNA. Leaving man with the XY DNA.

Many preachers use this verse in weddings. The bone wasnt taken from the head of man for woman to rule man nor was the bone taken from man's foot for him to rule over her but from the side protected by the man's shoulder and the "rib" for them to walk side by side. They are equal in their marriage and if the are following Christs plan the man is the head of the family, making sure they walk in the way of God. I have known men who have quoted Peter and Paul when they say wives should submit to their husbands forgetting what Jesus taught. My thoughts are that everything the apostles wrote should be filtered through what Jesus taught. In the sermon on the mount, Jesus said “ love your enemy, do good to those who spitefully use you “ also “ do not resist an evil person “ these quotes make me think Peter and Paul were saying “ your husbands will serve you, do not take advantage of them, otherwise judgment will come on you as his advisory.” The women following Jesus saw his respect and honour to all so we should respect and honour all also.❤

I prefer to tackle the passage coming before that one in Genesis 1:26-27, when God, said Let us make humankind in our image, man and woman Who, pray tell is us made in our image? If we are made he and she in God’s image as one life form, that makes God both both a He and a She or Father and Mother who together are One God. There is no reason to Call God a he ,the Father with out the she the Mother. Maybe then women would have equal human rights, privileges, and opportunities, worldwide. The Greek word plura means lung not side. See Gray's anatomy. The main idea is that GOD ABBA took a part or piece of Adam and He built Eve around the part of Adam. I heard of one case where a woman and a hermaphrodite married and it was learned the woman was unable to carry safely so in vitro fertilization was used to combine the eggs of the woman but the sperm of the Hermaphrodite was used. Thus combined in a lab and then implanted in the hermaphrodite to carry to term. Thus allowing the couple to have their own children. It was mostly kept out of the news for privacy but their families knew and my relatives that were part of the process to help them and to study this situation and have it published in peer review medical literature so as to know how to help others in this situation or to allow couples to take turns carrying so as not to put too much stress on just one spouse. Plus I really wonder how many so-called transgender were really born hermaphrodite but were surgically altered as babies to be one or the other by either the parents delusional self interest or change by hospital staff against the parents orders wishes. Thus really screwing these individuals over. Thus making them hate the parents and or the doctors and nurses involved. Such surgeries should never occur until that person is an adult and old enough to decide for themselves to be one or the other or stay as they are. I know my parents would have died if they had, had more children and they were born hermaphrodite and the hospital went against my parents orders to leave my hermaphrodite siblings as they are. But they just had me and my brother and mother who had wanted four children at first but realized that they could only afford two. Thus two of each a boy and girl but would have been ok with a couple of hermaphrodites. Or three children with one of each a boy and a girl and a hermaphrodite. If I had children and was able to carry safely I would not mind having one each and done the same as my parents would threaten to sue should I have a Hermaphrodite child if they try to surgically alter my child.

You can't just argue the etymology of one Hebrew word to disprove the Bible's intent, because the Bible repeats itself in other places. Even if you explain away one word, you cannot explain Genesis 3:16 where God specifically says that man will rule over woman, or Ephesians 5:24, "Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing." In the West, women have been given complete equality under the law, and men's authority has been legally diminished. Then, the law changed so that a woman can leave a marriage for no specific reason (no fault divorce), and there is no shame or stigma attached to the act anymore, and the woman almost always gets granted substantial financial compensation from the man. All of this serves to destroy the beautiful and sanctified union between man and woman. It is disgusting, evil, and perverse. People always give so much attention and scorn to the verses describing women's subservience to men, and they forget the charge of men to love their wives as Christ loves the church. The more primitive the society, the more that society relies on physical ability. Men are physically superior to women and thus carry the burden of protecting, fighting and doing hard labor. Women are more adept at other things and together they compliment one another and help ensure our survival. This doesn't mean women are inferior overall to men. If that were so I can't imagine a divine being imbuing her with the sole ability to carry on the species via pregnancy and then also after birth by feeding the child from her body until it was grown enough to eat otherwise. This is a very critical role and protecting her and her child is also a critical role. Neither can continue without the other. How is this not equal? You are speaking more of "equity", which would mean we would be essentially the same, both equally strong, both carrying children...both occupying the same role. At that point, why not just have one being that could reproduce asexually? Dividing the roles establishes a better foundation for survival with each having unique strengths. If everyone is the same who stays home with the children while the other goes to hunt? Without clear roles, how would this decision be made? Draw straws? Trial by combat? Trading off? Having two separate parts of the whole allows for additive strengths (more bonuses in gaming parlance), which gives us a better chance to succeed (or win if you will). Imagine a village where every being was pregnant. How would this affect hunting, fighting and carrying on of daily burdens? If you have somewhere near half of that village that is not with child, they can carry on the necessary duties without interruption, particularly since they would have been doing those duties all along. There is less disruption and less vulnerability which means a greater chance for survival. We all have free will. In the modern world we can choose how we want to live and what we want our roles to be. The original ways STILL provide the best recipe for success of our species. Your free will allows you to deviate from that in whatever way you see fit, just be aware that your genes and your legacy will have a harder road and perhaps even an impossible one. Be thankful you have the possibility of surviving and thriving at all under those choices because that would not likely be the case in most of human history. Let us imagine a builder or creator of any object in the world. Which is usually the more complex and intricate? The first or the second? I would say the second as something is learned from the first and God created woman to compliment man and complete him. For this reason the two when married become one not two and this forms a whole that is more complete than either all by themselves. Plus within the New Testament, women were the first to witness that Jesus had risen from the dead and are treated as very credible witnesses within the gospels of the New Testament. If women were treated subordinate in the past it was more the fact that both struggled in the past with no modern conveniences. Thus duties were divided up to ensure mutual survival was assured and also ensure that the least energy was expended to complete these daily NECESSARY tasks. Who really expected a woman to leave home and be a merchant traveling the empty trails and roads without being in danger. Plus greater muscle mass in a male ensures the jobs that need more brute strength are done by the man leaving the less arduous tasks for the weaker of the two sexes. So this video is only a modern feminist view of the roles of the sexes where modern technology and industrial practices have altered the past to a completely different paradigm. Yes, technology changed faster than the accepted social norms of the day but who really expects social norms to change faster? A modern day feminist (who has an agenda and an imaginary ax to grind) who has no grasp what the real past was like may think this way, but nobody with a brain who knows reality and the truth.

9:14 The book of job makes it very clear that males and females are equal in inheritance... Job was humbled twice for his stiff neck in this fact. We are living in that book today. Cost of living crisis and the assault on women, her image and even the meaning of woman... Coupled to the food crisis, GMOs and costs of meat and fresh foods including fish etc. sounds very much like Jobs loss of cattle, wife and children, in fact everything to the point of his flesh falling from his bones... Oh how hard are men for learning??? The resolution to all Jobs problems was the equal distribution of his wealth between all his children, some of whom were daughters.
