I would have been ok with Goldberg winning the Universal Championship if Bray Wyatt wasn't The Fiend during that match because The Fiend is supposed to get revenge on those who wronged Bray Wyatt (hence why Bray Wyatt beat The Miz instead of The Fiend). And unless Goldberg eliminated Bray Wyatt in the 2017 Royal Rumble (which I don't think he did), it doesn't make sense from a storyline perspective for Goldberg to ever face The Fiend.
