"Worked out" Sabonis looked worse than Alex Len and the 3rd seeded Kings lost to the weak chemistry broken 6th seeded Warriors. The Kings are a 2nd round exit at best and 1st round exit to the Nuggets/Suns

@@cottonmather8146 The Sacramento Kings got Coach of the year, NBA Executive of the year, the very first Clutch Player of the year, broke the rookie 3 point record, had the number one offense in the NBA, had an All-Star player that should have been two players, an All-Rookie player, had two all NBA third team players, broke a playoff drought of 16 years, finished 3rd in the West, clinched the Pacific Division, then took the defending champs to 7 games. All that after everyone said the trade for Sabonis was awful. Also, Sabonis won the rebounding title.

@@cottonmather8146Yeah. Haliburton is better than Sabonis but I think it was going to be hard for Haliburton and Fox to coexist as 2 ball dominant PGs. I would have traded Fox and Kept Haliburton to be honest.

@cottonmather8146 Жыл бұрын
@@DynamicUnreal The idea that "it's going to be hard for 2 ball dominant guards to co-exist" is complete bs. Fox/Haliburton aren't handling the ball every possession for 70% of the 24 seconds. It would've worked especially with the offense Mike Brown put in

I have always harbored doubts about the nonchalant attitudes displayed by players following a trade. After all, the NBA is essentially a workplace, and even involuntary work transfers in the real world evoke a range of emotions. It is difficult for me to comprehend how one could be satisfied with moving from a title-contending team or a city they enjoy to a small market or a team in the process of rebuilding.
@postsniper-7532
@postsniper-7532 Жыл бұрын
The nba isn’t a workplace they’re contractors with certain obligations most players don’t care where they play because they get paid enough to not be displaced these guys have houses in every state they work in yes culture nightlife may be different but they also usually exclusively socialize among themselves so it’s not really different going from one team to another still talking and hanging out with the same guys u did before

honestly think they would have had a worse chance if Tyrese was still there. by the time he was traded, Sac had a huge traffic jam at the 1 that was hurting Fox’s opportunity to become a superstar and Hali’s ability to maximize their potential. Sac would still be rebuilding if the trade never happened. I vividly remember punching a wall when the trade happened but Indy is building a fantastic young core with him as the centerpiece, and Sacramento ran out of patience after 16 years or so. Sabonis was the best piece the Kings could have gotten, and so was Hali for the Pacers.
