@@jenskarlsson9775 because, it rings true. I explored all different religions, cuz there was a point where religion was more done for family then because i particulalrly cared. So i explored at least all the major ones and the one with the clearest theology, which hasnt chnaged at its core over time has been Islam. The Quran especially sealed the deal for me. Like it was beautiful and magical and every time you read it something different strikes a chord, the more you read the more sense it makes. The prophet had such high morals. And when I prayed to God, through any troubles He answers, always in ways that leave me awestruck, in ways I realize were the best sometimes way later and sometimes immediately. And I can feel the connection and when I see the world around me. Just stare at the sky, you feel humbled at your tininess and then look at the ants and think how big and small you are at the same time, and like when you see the trees and birds and oceans and people and babies then how can you not believe in a perfect Creator of it all, who you can call God.

Oh yay!! Most Muslims will only know to read Arabic at max, so youre not any less if you dont know Arabic, most Muslims dont apart from reading. As long as the meanings there, however you recite Allah will surely accept with love. Dont worry it takes lots of born Muslims time to recite from memory in Arabic too. It varies person to person. It'll be hard but mashaAllah, youve been so brave, like I could never be. Welcome to the ummah=). Waalaikumsalaam.
