@@TheSloppyjoejrthere is a box in the leaderboards labeled “Unbroken” where you can see only the builds and scores where nothing broke. It’s pretty common for people to build a functional bridge that doesn’t completely collapse, but a few pieces break loose or fail. The commenter was saying that since Matt puts so much effort into getting a clean unbroken score, he shouldn’t be comparing himself to all of the janky and “cheesed” bridges that use broken parts. It’s not really fair if someone has a better score than you, but their bridge broke and yours didn’t, yknow? But I think that they don’t realize that a lot of the funny stuff that Matt loves to look at is considered “broken” and wouldn’t show up, such as the RCE propaganda, the Bezos rockets and the falling or dangling words. Those fun additions are considered broken, so if he wants to look at those, he needs to just use the unfiltered leaderboards that includes everyone. Hope this helps.

It’s because most of the fun stuff Matt loves to look at is considered “broken” by the game. So he just leaves the leaderboards unfiltered so he can see the fun stuff people make, like the janky catapults, RCE propaganda and jumbo sausages. We all know how much Matt loves a digital dongus, so he’s never going to risk getting rid of those!

you can't just detatch it with a split joint, you'd need an immediate hydraulic phase in order to detatch it before it breaks. you have to at the very least support the road, and at that point you might as well just use it for a hydraulic bridge

Dev suggestion - in addition to under budget and unbreaking, add "repeatable" which means that if the vehicles and hydrolics were put back, it would still work. Eliminates a lot of cheezing levels

You don't actually need a hydraulic solution to do that first level unbreaking, you can simply make the entire section of road that you're not using pop off with split joints and it'll just fall without counting as a break.

3:14 Matt, I’m fairly sure that that is not at all why the bridge broke. Even before the truck was on the bridge, the stress was very high. What actually happened was the bridge had some movement and the split joint didn’t attach in the same place, causing a stretch, and ultimately, failure.

Matt! You can use more sections of road to get smoother transitions since nodes don't weigh in PB3. It might add a minor amount of weight by not being the most direct to point option, but you can remove some of the sharp corners.

On the first bridge you could have made the road and bridge go over the fanboat and just used the hydraulic controller and split joints to drop the original bridge out of the way. That was my first solution and it works. Maybe not the cheapest since you have to place more roads, but no hydraulics at least!
