So an interesting thing about name declarations on Master Duel that I'm sure almost no one knows about: On a new account it doesn't work properly unless you restart the game. It seems that the only cards you can declare come from starter decks/solo mode. I learned this the hard way when I made a new account just to play Exosister and tried to resolve Carpedivem. I wonder if that's what happened to that lab player.
