Man Travis was strong. I’m pretty sure on Neils podcast I heard Richard Lupkes say that Pushkar was the strongest thing he ever felt. Denis left, and levans right are just a little bit better though. I don’t think much further then people realize though, a small percentage gap makes a huge difference

Strange how we don't really think of him as being very big, but he's always pretty big, even though it's of course relative. His hand is big either way, though. Travis did great. This was likely the first year that John got ln TRT..and that was to compensate for natural depletion with age...He was totally natural until he was past 40 and by that time he was already widely considered the GOAT..for most of John's career, there wasn't anywhere near enough money for PEDs to even make sense... money started to become significant in the mid 2000s and roinded monsters who trained like crazy arrived on the scene..Travis says John was the reason a lot of ppl started doing roids in the first place..he developed his skills and strength at the table..by competing a lot against the best..even after the arrival of guys who were on PEDs and maniacs in the gym, John never took anabolic steroids like them.. watch him in his match against Taras..he looks as normal as he ever did.. weight training and bulking up like he did here was very rare for John cuz it didn't translate on to the table ( he said he could bench twice of where he started and the gains in arm wrestling were marginal)..watch him at tournaments in the US in 2006..2007..2008..2009 and tell me he looks like he's on steroids..he didn't..others, meanwhile, grew to damn near twice their size...
