By bad writing I'm mostly referring to Dragon Ball Super, but mostly how inconsistent Akira was since Og dragon ball, as he changes his mind a lot and extends the show as he writes, he also forgets a lot of details he himself wrote so he created a lot of plot holes in his way. Overall I don't mean that the show is in itself bad, because it wasn't but it did have a lot of crap that we just tend to ignore

What I meant by this, is that it is full of retcons and it shows that Akira has poor planning, but still he finds ways to extend the show beyond his earlier plans, some plot holes are no joke, and some events do feel forced because of it

No it does, it's writing is very abysmal and it's due to Toriyama constantly forgetting his own story and constantly changing stuff to fit his story. Super in particular has very bad writing for example, Rage Trunks is horrible writing, MUI as a concept was something Goku learned in OG Dragonball, Goku regressing as a character and putting 7 universes on the line to fight, Senzu Beans getting nerfed, Beerus always being the goalposts that moves constantly, Goku constantly forgetting his martial arts that Roshi basically had to teach Goku from scratch mid battle, constantly saying Blue doesn't eat stamina to it constantly eating his stamina during TOP, OG God form basically turned into SSJ3. Plenty of issues

SS rage was an asspull everyone knows that but it wasnt even toriyamas idea it was toei animations. MUI is a concept goku did NOT learn in OG DB, in og db he learnt vaguely similar things on how to keep calm and sense your opponent, but not how to let every part of your body move independently without thinking. Goku did NOT put 7 universes life on the line knowingly, he just wanted a friendly tournament, not to mention if he hadnt then Zeno had already planned to destroy ALL the universes, if anything goku saved the multiverse, watch the show again. The senzu bean was never nerfed the heck you talking about ? Beerus being a moving goalpost I can still agree with but I don't call it bad writing since it has no negative impact on the story. Goku didn't forget any martial arts, if anything DBS made him more of a fighting genius than any other show. It was NEVER stated blue did not eat stamina. OG God form did NOT become useless like ss3, ss3 in itself is a flawed form, God isn't, it's just not used as much which I agree it should've. Point being, you only talking about DBS to talk about dragon balls writing, more than half of which is false anyway, you forget there is og db, z and super, yes there are flaws, but to say its a bad written show is a blatant lie and absolutely FALSE.

@@YouzerseifYoucef super saiyan was never a rare transformation, it was something no one had achieved in a 1000 years, goku was the first one and after seeing he could do it vegeta, gohan and future trunks trained their asses off to get super saiyan, goten and kid trunks did it easily sure but that’s because of the S cells toriyama introduced, you can like or dislike that it’s up to you. Again there are things which aren’t perfect, but your title suggests the whole show is bad writing which is false. It’s got one of the best writings in it as well.

Akira Toriyama was always a hack writer and had his editor help him revise things constantly. Even then, DB through Z was "mid" at best. DBS is an abomination. Naruto as a better example of a show is a bad joke though. It's easily as bad as DBS. Naruto tries to stop Madara from saving the world for no actual reason, then admits he has no alternative plan, then Madara gets plot device'd out of the story for a random nobody to take over. They beat her, then Naruto becomes some depressed failure that hasn't brought forth any salvation like he mindlessly promised. It's just as bad as the Future Trunks arc where no one had any counterarguments to Zamasu and are fine with other gods genociding people for much more malicious reasons, like being brought bad food (Beerus) and being annoyed (Zeno). Both of these series are jokes and their fanbases even more so.

Nostalgia carries. Only bleach and op are the two I find intresting. If I had to choose one anime out of the big 4 including db. I would choose one piece anyday anytime The writing is peak Still it's peak Db has got so much repeating . For example. I liked the first time he turned into ssj form and the hype was unmatched. It's good but then now it's just a copy + paste. Ssj2 Ssj3 SSG SSG blue SSG blue+ kaoken Ui Mui Tui Pui All same. One villain appears Beats goku's ass Plot armour comes into clutch. Onepiece has one pattern in almost all Arcs that are extended for longer than they should be, Luffy enter island, island has issues, Luffy wants to fix the issues, the people there are suffering because of an antagonist, Luffy gets caught or defeated at least once, Luffy fights main antagonist, zoro fights second strongest guy, Sanji fights third strongest guy. Antagonist defeated, they have a meal and gain new allies. And yet you say it has descent writing? It's too predictable for that to be true
