I was so moved by the story told by the architect on introspection and the inspiration behind the home. The gentle sway of the willows and the curtains countered the stern structure of the concrete and the spaces created. The shots of yellow, black and green countered the monotone white and greys. The chaotic and evocative art pieces balanced the serene feel of the house. One could feel the cohesiveness of the rooms - both from an architectural/artistic and Feng Shui perspective. The spiritual aspects of the house are undeniable. Beautiful!!

Such a deep and insightful reflection! The balance between structure, nature, and art really does give the home a spiritual and harmonious quality. 😊

The yellow accent colour used throughout the video (including footwear, coffee mugs, bags, etc.) is aesthetically pleasing and brightens the space.
@StackedHomesАй бұрын
Absolutely! Those yellow accents bring a lively touch to the space, adding just the right amount of brightness without overpowering the overall design.

This house is impressive. The outdoor kitchen on gravel is so practical and minimal hassle in its upkeep. Just perfect for gathering, entertaining or even just daily breakfast under the sun. I can just imagine how cozy it will be on a raining day, feeling and listening to the rain when you are sitting outside but sheltered from the elements. And it really looks like an art gallery. Very unique and turns the common concept of home totally upside down. I mean, they literally put the floor on the ceiling! Really love the ventilation too, which definitely helps with energy saving. They've really done an amazing job with the house.

You’ve captured the essence of the space perfectly! The outdoor kitchen and unique design choices really make it stand out, especially with the smart ventilation. 😊

This is a lovely visual poetry. Captivating gallery home, which is despite the valuable art works, the living space is not too precious or "pristine" and feels very well lived in. For myself, I would perhaps extend the floor from home to the outdoor kitchen (which is fantastic, reminiscent of grandma's kampung kitchen), just enough to cover the kitchen area. Mainly because I want to walk barefoot to get my morning coffee:) Amazing pops of colour, amazing art work.

What a thoughtful take! The blend of art and lived-in comfort is what makes the space so special.

I love it, but how does it operate in monsoon season? I am not sure I love the idea of using the toilet in the corner of the zen garden, that might have been best with a wall, at least for guests...
@CooperPhamkd54Ай бұрын
I think guest would like to use the 2nd bathroom near the inner yard (one has flipping windows), this one is main bathroom it seen. But yes a bathroom with no solid wall next to the gate for guest is a bit much for me too.
@StackedHomesАй бұрын
That’s a fair concern! The monsoon season definitely tests the durability of open designs. 😊
