Another great video. I loved in the RotS PS2 game from 2005 when you defeated Obi-Wan on Mustafar playing as Anakin - the cut scene that followed was Anakin then murdering Palpatine. Also, for me, the Stover RotS novel was the best SW book I've ever read. 😊

Mathew Stover, the author of Revenge of the Sith, is a genius. He has obviously studied Gnosis and knows all the Gnostic lore, myths, and practices. It is THE best Star Wars novelisation of a movie by a country mile. 👌

Anakin, despite plegding himself to Sidious and the Sith, knew that Palpatine had been manipulating him, the Jedi, the Republic, and the war for many years, and resented him for it. While he knew he needed Palpatine to learn how to cheat death, he had no intention of remaining subservient to his new master. He would kill Palpatine for his lies and machinations.

& even though he told obi wan that in his pov, the jedi were “evil,” he knew obi wan was right about palpatine. I always strongly believe that the alternate ending 2 rots game would b what happened if anakin won…he’d kill sidious quickly 4 lying 2 him about everything.

He truly was a Sith. Remember he told Padme on Mustafar he was more powerful than the chancellor that he could overthrow him. Then the two of them could rule the galaxy. I'm sure Palpatine knew somehow.

If Vader won against Obi and attacked Palpatine on mustafar, Palpatine would have showed him how much more powerful he still was compared to Vader, tortured Vader to oblivion and complete submission but would have spared his life , because Vader is not mutilated and burned, and still has his full potential. Vader would reach his full strenght which was 2 x more than Palps, and destroyed him easily, but this would takes probably 10 years atleast or something..

Nope it won't take 10 years as stated in the rots novelization when Anakin was Unconflicted in operation knightfall he was already capable of beating Palpatine but lost to Obi Wan because of conflicting emotions as you can see the reason why he didn't have his sith eyes while dueling Obi Wan

If anakin wasn't conflicted and showed his sith eyes that signify his focus and power then he could have easily broken Obi Wan's force barrier and kill Obi Wan within seconds

An interesting thing i thought of, why would Anakin want to Kill Palpatine ao soon especially since he knew no way to save Padme from death? Seems a bit stupid. But here is a theory. Imagine if Anakin killed Obi Wan on Mustafa and then killed Palpatine. What would happen if Padme still died? What would happen.

Great video and to be fair we already have seen in an old video game of revenge of the sith where there is an alternate outcome where anakin ended up killing obi wan and palpatine a proclaimed himself as new emperor of the galaxy i think it would have turned out the same way if everything went according to vader's plan

Sidious woulda sensed it and let's be fair palps was so good with the saber he didn't feel the need to even use one, anakin couldn't top dooku at one point not too long before all that so how dya think he would have fared against a prime sidious 🤷‍♂️ the video game ending was fun I loved it but realistically it wouldn't have ever happened that way

I mean even if he attempted it and failed this was essentially their whole dynamic anyways. Sidious is always one step ahead of Vader and expects this. The only thing he couldn't see was Luke and the force restoring balance.

I don't think Palpatine was pleading for his life when he was begging Anakin to use his knowledge, or that the choice he given him related to embracing the dark side because Anakin was already engulfed in it the choice Sidious wanted Anakin to make was how they proceed from this point will Anakin claim the sith legacy in secret while pretending to be on the Jedi side or will he take the path of a dark apprentice.

@@JulianPerez-zv6os because the forced travels through and is channeled in organic matter. Anakin lost 4 limbs and lots of skin and flesh so he lost a lot of force power as there was less flowing through his body
