Hi Jeanette, I’ve been enjoying your videos and inspired to give it a go. My question is , is it necessary to have an airbrush with a psi of 40, or would a cheaper airbrush with psi30 be sufficient? I’ve been working with an air blower, but would like to consider an airbrush. Many thanks

Thank you so much 😊. 40 is the psi I am comfortable using and the highest i ever use. There are times I use 20 psi. It all depends on the effect you want to achieve. I think 30 would be fine as long as you can adjust it to a lower psi as well.

So do you make up one of those for each color of ink that you have? Or just the ones you use a lot? Just starting. Bought many inks. Wondering if I should do this for all of them or what. Thank you. Lovely flowers you make.

Whenever I have an empty bottle of ink, I put a few drops od alcohol in the bottle, shake it up and pour it into an applicator bottle. All reds go in one bottle. All blues go in another, etc.

Thank you Audrey 😁. I've not had any issues. I think it's because the needle nose tip opening is so tiny. If it were larger, it would definitely be an issue.

thanks very much. why does the ink soak through to the back of photo paper, Yupo please? sorry i tried to ask before but lost the video page as usual. i sit and watch all of your videos and love every one of them

The glossy side of photo paper is designed to absorb ink when a photo is printed on it. That's why you use the back of the photo paper, as it's sealed so the ink absorbed by the front does not seep through. You can use either side of Yupo paper.
