Dropped everything and watched this. Love outkast Don't forget big boi!!! He's where the cerebral part comes in on songs like BOB. What makes outkast great is the marriage of the emotional intelligence of Andre and the cerebral, practical intelligence of big boi.

@@Polyphonic you really should do a vid on Hey ya. It's Andre's proof that people don't listen to lyrics but go by the music as to the meaning of the song. Andre is one the greatest rapper to only have one album, his skills are bigger than the stereotypical albums and the traditional narrative most rappers present in their projects. His verse always have deep meaning and elaborate bars filled amazing storytelling and cohesive themes. A king in the industry who doesn't receive enough recognition for efforts, ppl actually seek out Andre verse because they're amazingly broad and yet filled so much depth, I still want another album, but his guest verses and freestyles are untouchable and I gotta mix or two of all of his work I jam on Soundcloud as much as possible. Dude spit real life, while everyone else spits fantasy. Andre playing chess and everyone else is playing checkers.

Hi there, first of all, amazing video, I really adore Outkast, Andre 3000 is maybe one of the best lyricists in the business But, my comment isn't about this video, instead, it's a recommendation for the next "how x writes love songs". The artist I'm talking about, like Leonard Cohen is very melancholic when talking about love, and much more than L. Cohen, his jarring Low vocals drive the mood home. Now who am I talking about? Of course it's Tom Waits, the man is a genius and his love songs are painfully bittersweet and at the same time beautiful. I don't know if Tom Waits is already on a "waiting list" for this series, but it is really someone who should be considered. Thank you for the time, keep up the amazing work!
