I've been under general anesthesia twice and I am a hypochondriac. However, whatever drugs they gave me prior to the OR made me care less about anything. When I say anything I mean literally ANYTHING. At that point they could probably lean in and say..."were actually going to euthanize you "... and I probably would have broken down in laughter.

I've had 13 surgeries...I love general anesthesia...go to sleep and wake up and it is all over!

I got anaesthesia and it was just completely weird I just fell asleep but I wasn’t tired xD

@@Stephjohn26 it was just good nothing bad or scary you’ll just like pass out and in no time wake up you won’t even feel like you’re asleep also when you wake up after surgery the time you were asleep will really mind blown you since your body doesn’t notice how long it was unconscious.

Okay, I had nearly 9 nine tubes down my throat. I need to know how much damage this does.

I think I only had one big tube down my throat and I remember waking up and the tube was pulled out so I felt so much relief then I passed out again. When I woke up for good I had a HORRIBLE sore throat, even worse then when I have a cold. It’s been two days, and I’m for sure healing but there’s still this sensation on my throat it feels very dry at times and it makes me cough but my abs hurt when I do.

Nicely presented but it suffers from the same problem as all the other videos of this type, it is just a demonstration and at no time does what the title suggests...ie explain how it works, it would be a longer video but would be interesting to know just what it does to me and how it makes me sleep etc.

Yes it did. It blocks transmission between thalamus and cortex by changing frequency of brain waves.
