Annette Benning is a fantastic actress. Who knew Warren Beatty would settle down but I guess it was the right woman at the right time. Seems like he learned a lot from her. No long term relationship is flawless, of course they've had major bumps, but I'm glad they've been able to work them out. Wishing their family continued happiness.

I cant say I was ever a great fan of Mr Beatty but, having had a lifelong interest in movies I have to give the man the credit he deserves. As a film maker he was probably the most intellectually gifted of them all so when the French 'new wave' art films were taking over the industry in the 1960's, Beatty saw it for what it was, a load of pretentious nonsense and despite being courted by top European directors he would have nothing to do with it. And apart from Orson Welles, Warren Beatty was the only other person who produced, starred in and wrote most of the script of a classic movie as he did with Bonnie and Clyde while still in his twenties. He was notoriously narcissistic and vain regarding his looks but yet he accepted the ageing process and didn't resort to grotesque face lifts as other handsome actors had done. The pity is that Mr Beatty didn't make a few more films and at eighty four years old now, he probably wont make any in the future. But his legacy is assured as he leaves behind a few great movies and excellent performances.
