When you say that you can get a new Ink card approx. every 3 months, must you cancel the current card you have before apply again the exact same card? Do they ever ask why you need several of the same card?

I’ve personally always cancelled a few months prior to applying for the same card (as long as I’ve had it for a year plus) but a lot of data points suggest people have multiples of the same card. I’ve never been asked that personally but the folks I’ve seen holding the same card while applying for it again, apply under a different business. This makes it easy to explain to the rep that they just needed the additional card for budgeting purposes.

Thanks for the information, great video! You mentioned it briefly but when you are coming up to the 2 year mark having one of the ink cards, you usually call and cancel it 3 months prior to 2 years and that’s enough time to allow you to apply for it again right after that 2 year threshold to get the SUB again?

5/24 counts only approved personal cards. However, the algorithm usually count all the authorized cards too. In that case, you need to call reconsideration line to reverse the decision.

Will Chase continue to perform hard inquiries after the initial one?

Yes. Every chase card I’ve applied for gives me a new hard pull, unlike Amex

Instead of your Player 2's 1st card being the Ink Cash, why not refer her to the Ink Unlimited, since it already has the elevated bonus offer of 90K vs the Cash's 75K?

I’m assuming it takes about 3 months to meet the minimum spend for each ink offer and usually the elevated SUB doesn’t last that long. If you both have 12k to spend in 3ish months it would work better mathematically but that’s just a lot of spend for most people. Hopefully by the time P2 is applying there will be a different elevated offer but we just don’t know ahead of time when that will happen so I tried to do a mix in the video
