The producers at Fazenda Barreiro in Brazil harvest some of the world's finest coffee from their 80,000 trees. Specializing in organic coffee, they carefully select beans at their peak ripeness to ensure top-quality flavor. During the drying process, the temperature of the beans is carefully monitored to lock in the rich flavors and aromas. Watch how each batch is sorted, cleaned, and graded before being roasted to bring out its exceptional taste.

I’ve tasted coffee in 38 countries, but nothing beats the farm-fresh brews I experienced in Paraná, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. You really have to try the coffee locally to understand what I mean. Yummy!

Have you tried Liberica or Excelsa bean

@@EkoPutro-ue5we I tried Liberica at a luxury mall in Bangkok, but I'm not sure if it was the real thing. Excelsa is a type of Liberica, but it’s pretty hard to find. Maybe one day I'll get to try it in the Philippines.

for those trying to buy, I just went down a giant rabbit hole and i cant find a way to buy that coffee (lobo do serrote) to/from the US. I did find a roaster out of Bolivia (Valverde) that looks like it will sell to the US. fwiw.

Today we are implementing new varieties of coffee, both Arabica and clonal, mainly Vietnamese varieties. Minas Gerais has the support to produce both types of coffee. In Arabica, we are implementing new varieties such as Arara and Brauna. The main idea with Arabica is to make a very special coffee.

Importante ressaltar que a demanda por cafés especiais no Brasil está aumentando cada vez mais. Graças a isso, produtores não precisam sempre recorrer ao mercado externo.

Fascinating video! I love trying new coffee roasts but know so little about the process. The gentleman Nelson who oversees the drying … is he speaking Spanish in the video? Or maybe “Portunhol”?

He is speaking portunhol. Clearly native Spanish speaker living in Brazil.

They mention at the end that they work with refugees (through her NGO), so maybe he's Venezuelan now living in Brazil... It sounded more like Portunhol.

Whoever added the club music - maybe the post-production supervisor - that was an odd choice. Title could be better too. Otherwise, good video. Gostei do vovô, mo profissa

Thank you #Yeti for sponsoring this video. It seems logical that a company making the highest quality coolers is helping educate people on high quality products from around the world. We all appreciate your sponsorship. Also, thanks to the social media team at #Eater for continue high quality productions of stories that show how great people are making the world a better place. Thanks to Fazenda Barreiro for allowing us to observe and learn about your processes. On a personal note... I get my coffee through a restaurant I used to work at. It is 100% Brazilian Mocha-Java blend and it is the finest coffee I have ever had. Find yourself 100% medium roast Brazilian coffee and you will stop buying that chain store crap.

Being the largest coffee producer has little bearing on being a producer of specialty coffee since they aren't typically made by big producers..

Since over 90% of all coffee produced in Brasil are produced by small farmers, maybe it's a little bit relevant....

What do they mean by specialty in this case? Can't it not be simply unique flavor?
