How are aluminium radiators made? It is a complex, but at the same time extremely fascinating process involving precision engineering and innovative techniques. Thanks to advanced production technology, but, above all, to the qualified staff, KFA Armatura aluminium radiators are products of exceptionally high quality and durability. We invite you to watch a film revealing the secrets of radiators' production in a Polish factory of KFA Armatura, located in Nisk in Podkarpacie region.
The production process at the Nisk plant begins with small aluminium bars called gąs. For the production of KFA Armatura aluminium radiators, high-quality material with increased requirements for the group of chemical composition elements according to the Armatura standard based on PN-EN 1676 is used. Importantly, for each melt, the composition is tested using a Spectromax type spectrometer, as well as the crystallographic structure using a microscope.
The next step in the production of an aluminium radiator from Armatura Krakow is anti-corrosion protection by means of anaphoresis and fluorozirconing processes. Thanks to anaphoric painting, a durable coating highly resistant to corrosion is obtained. The final stage is electrostatic powder coating and polymerisation of the powder paint in an oven (temperature of approx. 200 °C). At the very end, KFA Armatura aluminium radiators are packaged in ecological cardboard boxes and set off on their journey to customers.
At the KFA Armatura aluminium radiator factory, the in-house design and research department is responsible for quality control at every stage of production and for the implementation of new products. Production processes are audited in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard, and a 48-hour service is offered to customers. It is worth knowing that the KFA Armatura production plant received the Energy Efficiency Certificate (the so-called white certificate) as a confirmation of the achieved energy effect. It can be applied for by entities implementing modernisation projects as a result of which they are able to save significant amounts of energy.
